joins with a mug of propeller Extra Special Bitter. I'll pass on the balut, but the company seems mostly good here so long as no blows the place up. *Eyes Des suspiciously* ;)

I have a device which de-activate/re-activate the mines with the push of a button, so yes, I got my bases covered. :p

I have no interest in blowing the place up. That will only happen if anyone tries to go on a pissing contest. No pissing off, no BOOM. Piss me off, whole place go BOOM!

Can I rephrase this?

Piss Des off, the whole place goes BOOOOM!
Piss DW off, Des goes BOOOOM!

Sorry, just came back to home from local rock festival, and I think I have drunk waaaaaay too much alcohol today... :o  :D

Damn, I didn't know my temper is so hot until I can self-destruct. :p

That or maybe some mujahideen towel-head planted a suicide belt on me. Damn him...

Maybe I should use that suicide belt if you try. If I go down, it might as well be me and the captor(s).

Hey, hermano, how've you been :) ? I'll pass up on the balut too; looks too much like the remains of a night of binge drinking - something I'm all too familiar with :D .

Yo, hermano! Pretty busy these past months. Went back to actual classroom teaching and hanged my Robes of the Prefect. :D

Don't worry about the balut. When you're in a drunken stupor you would hardly know what you're eating.

How's life? Anything new these days? :mischief:

I'm wondering when Beldin's gonna show up. SLURRing aint the same without him.

Been under large amount of stress at work the last few months, hence why I didn't post that much. The department where I've been working has suffered a large income loss due to the economic crisis.

In the end, they've had to let some people in that department go; me being one of them. Luckily, it's a large IT company with different departments and I'm being moved to another department that is still doing well despite the crisis; that's one of the reasons I got picked - because it was easier to find another spot for me than it was for the others working at my previous department.

Upside: my wage is going up and I'm getting new job opportunities, where I was stuck in the job I was working in previously.

Downside: getting up a lot earlier in the morning (going to have to start working shifts :D ) and a whole new learning process since the new job requires some skills and knowledge I don't yet possess. Also: not yet sure I'll get the job, since I'll have to do a 2 week trial period first :( .

Ah, well - such is life I suppose; sorry about the wall of text :D

Does family stress count?

My parents have been visiting me in Oslo, and we're showing them around town. I have since gotten a cold and sore feet, and will be giving up the pop corn and the best spots on the couch so they can watch the World Cup finale later today.
ONE BEER PLEASE! Serve it on a 40x50x40 art deco table, if you have one.
