Inquisitors cast dispel magic as a mage of double their level which is what make Keldorn particuarly useful at taking down spell protections.Originally posted by Zaha:
Dispel magic does dispel spell protections, if it's successful. I just recently finished ToB the first time, my standard strategy was to start a tough fight by having Keldorn cast dispel magic at enemies. I think Inquisitors cast Dispel Magic (and True Sight) as if they were mages of their paladin level. As paladins gain levels much faster than mages AND have at least 5-7 Dispel Magics a day, Keldorn definitely rules. I gave him a Girdle of Fire Giant strength, if he uses Greater Whirlwind attack, he'll whack 10 times a round with the Carsomyr +6.
Tested personally, although I didn't try it 20 times or so.Originally posted by Curdis:

Sure. Not the most vital spells for daily survival, but they add something that other spells cannot replace when you need it the most; extra firepower.Originally posted by fable:

I'm curious why you don't use PI. Not only does it save a character in your party from death, but it's a great way to draw attention away from your real party members. I've used it to pull dragons away from chasing Keldorn, for example.Originally posted by craig:
