That was one ridiculous thing, the stakes lying around a vampire lair! The only explanation I could think of would be that whoever buried the corpses left the stakes in case of a vampirism outbreak of some sort, but I can't imagine the vampires would have left them there :laugh:davfrahen wrote:I think it`s hillarious that a vampire in Bhodi`s lair, has a wooden stake in the cupboard by his bed!!!!!!

It makes sense.davfrahen wrote:I think it`s hillarious that a vampire in Bhodi`s lair, has a wooden stake in the cupboard by his bed!!!!!!
Ah, but you don't fight a vampire with a wooden stake. You stab it in the heart while it lies sleeping. Bodhi and her pals could just as easily chase off other vampires with regular weapons that couldn't be used to exploit their weakness while sleeping.kmonster wrote:It makes sense.
Humans in human weapon loving societies have weapons for killing humans at home, so why shouldn't vampires in vampire societies have weapons for killing vampires at home ?
Never thought about it like that. Cool.kmonster wrote:It makes sense.

It makes sense. They could easily have gathered up items which could be used against them and kept them so nobody could use them...As well as all seemily very clever Dragons would leave a lot of fire resistant gear in their lair. As if. Yeah, I also enjou the Eclipse party banter.
Unless I'm mistaken, if you work for Bodhi, the first assignment she gives you is to steal a crate full of wooden stakes at the dock. By the same token, if you work for Aran Linvail, he orders you to protect the crate when the vampires attack. Bodhi's intention is to distract and weaken her enemies, but I suppose she also wants to deprive them of valuable pieces of wood.Pellinore wrote:It makes sense.
