Well, i suppose i'm soon to be a member of this wing, if you'll have me that is. Just waiting on the paperwork to go through so i'm official. Allow me to introduce myself. Saien McGerney, Cleric of the Blades, devout in his faith, which is rivaled only by his temptation to pocket a pretty in the hopes of winning the heart of a local lovely for an evening. Trust me, however, when i say that my skills far exceed lifting the occasional piece of jewelery or such. These skills i offer up to service of the guild. Tell me, how exactly will i fit in with two wings, the Divine and the Rogue? I am quite interested in knowing if i answer to two superiors, and which, if either takes precedence. I live to serve...though who i serve might not always be seen openly.

My interpretation is that you choose a wing you would like. Rogue or cleric. One or the other.

Gives Saien McGerney a hearty slap on the back in welcome :)

*and pockets the necklace, three rings and 18 gold pieces that fell to the seduction of quick hands* :D

Aye, in that case i'll prolly submit myself to the Faithful Order. Nevertheless, well met friend. By the way, you're not half as quick as you'd like to believe. Keep what you just lifted. We'll consider it a gift between brothers...at least until i decide i'm in need of it once again. ;) Keep these blokes in line while i'm away. The faithless tend to fall prey to corruption.

In regards to the recent comments, and the fact that I'll probably change my class before NWN comes out. Having people work their way up the ranks seems sensible enough.

It seems a lot more reasonable for people to change classes while their at the lower rank, then a designated high thief relising that he prefers a another class over the rouge one.

My vote- Have people work their way up the rank.

I agree ..but it seems this has already been decided. :( Still I'm holding one spot for you on the list of 5.

Yea or nay ??? on this spot.

@ Everyone else....as of now 1 spot is still open . (If Tamerlane doesn't want a spot...it will be added back.) (This is my understanding A Joe will not be in this guild...but in one of the others.) If I'm wrong on this ...A Joe can have the last spot.

OK guys I apologise for posting in the Rogues thread but I considered it prudent. Are you sure that you want to do a first come first serve basis? IMHO I consider that to be a little unfair however, Weasel it is your Wing and whatever you do is fine with me. Although saying that, a vote for leadership os hardly fair really as you have 6 members, you wouldn't be able to do it I think. Are you happy with the way this is? I've been lumped the duty of Rule writing and I need some feedback like what you want in it etc. Any suggestions feel free to PM, e-mail or post a message in the Guild thread, I normally notice it! :D :D

I'm not happy with this way...but the other guilds seem to be going this way and I don't want any fights about it.

The ranking system has (as far as I can tell) already been set up and (from what I can tell) most agree with it.

As for a little unfair....yes it is....but people want ranks now....not 6 months from now. And I don't want to hear them complain. (As I said this is why I hate ranks.)

this looks promising for you stealthy guys:

Can I attack from a roof top?

(Marc Holmes - official message board)
Just because there is no climbing, does not mean you will be safe from 'death from above'. There are balconies, stairs and doorways that lead to the roof. The thief may not be able to climb arbitrary surfaces yet, but he can use stealth to enter a building and get to the roof...

After thinking about this rank business (And getting some advice)

All ranks will be void till later. When it is decided how ranks are to given....then it will be done.

Sorry, but this seems the only way.

That's fine Weasel. To me, a thief is still a thief, no mater what rank he holds. :D

And I holds the coinage :) *sifts through some more unsuspecting pockets before realising that they're his* Hmm... oops ;)

A good descision, though if ranks are needed to maintain a sense of order in the heirachy during the early stages, care takers can be appointed.

No one is in the council yet. I will not give at ranks. Ranks have to be earned. ( I know I got my slot by a vote and this is not fair to the rest of you and I'm willing to have the council of 5 step in and take me down.)

Till a way is found to give ranks by merit, I will not be giving any out.

I'm trying to be fair with everyone here.

I don't know if the ranks need to be filled, but you asked a good question.

I believe this needs to be put the 5 and let them decide.
