Ahh, yes my friend. But ask yourself this, would you rather spend all your time in a small room or outside exploring in a new world.

A roster would be appropiate in this situation. If the shop is welcomed by other Blade members.

*woohoo*-100 posts :D :D

we could ask the guys at argyle to put a npc there to sell the stuff. only problem could be the thiefs.

Well you've finally convinced me.
As for the thief problem, we have enough rouges to steal back whatever we lose. ;)

OK people want to keep the their items and sell them if need be? Well we could operate a 20% tax on sold items. :D :D

Shop sounds good to me. :)

And, of course, brothers (and sisters) that we all are, we should generously share what we find. Right? Only if you find something that none of your fellow Guild members has an immediate need of, should you sell it to an NPC.

This is an investment that pays itself back eventually. If you give Johnny the Mage a nice Staff of Monster Bashing, he can go out and bash monsters, making it more likely that he will return some day with a goody that's useful to you.

We should post a few npc guards as well then. If a thief successfully pockets something, so be it. He's earned it (though i'll be on the lookout for the scoundrel in my spare time). But if he fails in his attempt then the guards should be there to attempt to capture/kill him, etc. Otherwise, we'll prolly just have a dead merchant on our hands.

With around 30 members before the game is out, don't think they'll get very far.

Maybe, i'm wondering though, how many are gonna just be sitting around the guild house getting drunker and fatter...well, prolly most of the fighters...but i think most will want to be out and about quite a bit.

Another thing, should people be allowed to play with their char in singleplayer or something else not guild related. Or should they only use it for the guild stuff.

The shop is a good idea, especially if we can place it in our keep (once we get one) I was in a guild in UO (way back in the day) and each person could set up their own vendor. These guys were all over our guild house. If you had the $$, some good deals could be made.

It might be a problem as to who sets prices when selling equipment. Obviously, as a buyer, you want a discount because it is coming from within the guild, but if I'm selling something, I want top dollar. The market system sounds good to fix this problem, let each person hawk his/her wares.

Very good point. Partly depends on how Argyle and the Character Vault impose restrictions. I'd hate to see Argyle be swamped with the NWN equivalent of Gaxx rings and maxed out characters... Kinda takes the uniqueness out of it.

We should check with the Argyle folks, I guess.

Why not share freely with your Guild members? If they do the same for you, there's no need to bother with all this buying and selling. I think that's best reserved for dealings with people outside the Guild. That's when we need to send our fiercest merchants. ;)

Hey in argyle you can have 2 charectors per person. Is this aloud in the guild?

No Craig it's not LOUD. LOL. :D

Only joking mate. I don't think we will allow two characters, it's too complicated and without meaning to sound too presumptious I would prefer that the Guild get focused on. However we can't stop you...

Agree with Nippy. Besides, if you want to try out another character, you can always retire your first.
