If everyone are to have the same thing, i'd suggest a ring or a amulet... fits all classes.

Maybe someone should make "the mark of the banshee" to put on the ring/amulet.

So everyone likes the idea of an amulet or ring? You could have the choice I suppose.

Does anyone remember the discussion about letters? We should be able to come up with a mark that can be used to seal the letters (like a wax seal) if they include the writing feat or allow us to use them. It would make things interesting.

I think we should also come up with (talking about guild maintenance) guild secretaries and the like. I'm happy to carry on as PR and as information for the guild. Saigo is a historian, Xandax is site maintenance. Is everyone happy with that?

Is this story running a long time or have you just made it up?
Also, are there discussions about the Blades of the Banshee on the Arguile board?

I like the whole idea of what I've read so far, nice work!

But, if every should wear a item (a ring), won't this weaken this person since he can't wear a magical item instead?
Perhapts it's a nice idea to give it powers, and as the character level's up, so does the "ring".

Absolutly not - almost only (we think) the DM/TATers at Argyle know about us as a group.

Nobody says it has to be worn - could just be in your backpack.
And BTW if you find a magical ring in Argyle you are lucky or high level (in wich case you are lucky :D )
As for giving it powers that would be something only possible outside of Argyle in own modules (Argyle will be magic-poor, thus I doubt they will make magical rings for us from lvl. 1 :) )

The ring should be more like an ID, not a artifact of almighty power (it could however have hidden powers yet to be discoverd/implanted :D )

Anyone got any suggestions on how this ring should look like?

My suggestion is a silver ring with a blue (or red) transparent stone with the mark of the banshee inside it.

You can wear only one magical ring on each hand, but that doesn't stop you from wearing other, non-magical rings. So, a signet ring would cause no problem whatsoever.

Actully, you can only wear 2 rings (1 one each hand) at anytime (if the screenshot is correct).

Well I'm pretty sure that we can find a way to sort this out. As Xandax says, there aren't just 6 or less people to have items to give out to, there are over 100. I'm sure having one magic ring (luckily) and the BotB is more likely...

Rings get stolen, lost, sold by spouses on shopping sprees... How about tattoos? Image

well, tatoos might be an option for some, but for others i'm not so sure. actually, i think that's the case for all of us. Since our characters are descendants, i find it highly unlikely that each would have a ring, or an amulet, or a tatoo. Some might not have anything. This might not contribute to this topic, but it's just my point of view.

I don't think a standard ID for all of the members is a good idea at the start. When the second coming of the Banshees begins, then I could see it. Until then, if you want your character to have a certain ID, then do it. It's just up to you to provide the background story for it.

Once again, these are just my thoughts. ;)

I must say that I agree with average joe :)

Perhaps it's an idea that everyone has some kind of birthmark or a scar that no one can explane.

Finally got access to the internet. :)

Why don't we consider a simpler solution. We all wear the same coloured garments.

This way, we won't trouble the DM's at all.
As they won't have to specially cater to our needs.

Well we need to remember that as such - "we" are not chosen by something divine or powerful.
We are simply the desendance of some people that were in a organisation some years ago :)

Ow, then I misunderstood!

Perhaps it's an idea that everybody has an logo printed on their outfit? That looks pretty cool, on your upper arm or on your chest.

If that could be done in NwN (we have to see :) then it could be cool - but not untill you are powerfull enough to defend it (or the guild is :) ) - it wouldn't be smart to run around as level 6- to advetise for a guild that could threathen a lot of the establish (or wanna-be) guilds :)

Yes, it should sudddenly be there. A guild with all powerfull members. And then everybody wants to join but they can't HAHAHA! (unless they are a member of gamebanshee :) )

On the other hand, aren't all characters at that point of time low level?

But the suddenly being there of an all powerfull guild sounds like fun. Then everybody has a chance to advanture the way they want befor the guild is there.

Well there will be NPC guilds with high-level NPCs in them - and maybe a thives guild will no look nicely upon another rogue acting "feelance" or even worse in another guild - that would bring down a whole lot of trouble.
Also seeing as arcane-casters are disliked - how do you think the public would responce to a person that is a member of a guild where there are magic-users in?

There are alot of dangerous things in Argyle.
