Now I am in HotU. What level were you starting HotU. I started at level 13.
I think 20.. going from the original to HotU. I hated the original, but HotU was my favorite of all of the campaigns of NWN to NWN2. (..still, doesn't even come close to BG2.
) I'm playing Torchlight right now for the first time.. unbelievably repetitive (with an equipment database that defy's all description and logic). Still, it's got some good-points to it - with real-time battle that seems more "fluid" than any of the D&D games.

I was dissapointed that some of the items in HotU were identical to those in SoU such as dragon slippers.

They "throw-in" older equipment at the start (usually random generated).

If you're going for Dual-Wield, you should use 2 dwarven War axes, one in each hand. Usually, a single Dwarven War axe will be a slow but deadly weapon. But 2 of them? Thats a completely different matter. With two, You can do extra damage with more speed! great for Fighter/Rangers. If you are a half-orc, you will use both of them even faster than both dwarf and human speed!

Why does half-orc get more speed? I am playing with a shield for: AC, no loss of AB for dualwielding, avoiding specing into dexterity and loading up on strength, and saving feats opening up things like improved knockdown.
Thanks for the advice I am just explaining why I (my character) are (is) doing what they do for the build.

When I used to play with Dwarven Waraxes a crit meant death, but I suppose the other weapons crit more often. I always ignored devestating crit aswell, and this was without weapon master. But then I exploited feats and Keen...
