Maybe there isn't a meaning of life.
Maybe it's just life, live it, get on with it and don't think too much about it.
You know, with our tinny little life span, and all our silly little problems that we ourselve have created around us, i don't think we have enough time to think about it.
But, if one is happy with his/her's actions, and feels no guilt with anything they have done in life so far, then maybe that person has found or achived the meaning of life.
You, maybe it's something that just is.

Well, isn't death the point of life? I mean that's where you end up in the end.. My theory is that you live so that you can die. You can't die if you don't live can you?
My sig sais it all

Correction, Vicsun.
Death is the end of life. It more like the end of the road. The point of life is to become a good human. A man only have 2 things in his life : his good reputation and his pride. If you loose those two, you might consider you're dead already even you're still alive.

How do you know? Maybe death is the beginning of
actuall life. It might be the beginning of the road. This life may be the search for the road, while death is the road its self.

I believe that life really is just for passing on DNA.

when you get down to serious thinking....everything that has ever happened is electrical sparks in brains. Just think of Descartes, and you'll realise that everything spiritual which has ever happened is brain sparks, and watch the matrix and you'll realise that the entire physical world is just brain sparks.
yeah...I think therfore I am is about as close to the meaning of life as anyone's ever got.

The maening of life is IMO what you make of it. No 2 people are the same so there is not 1 standaard meaning of life.
I feel that you just have to enjoy life without thinking about it to mutch. Stop making nice sounding one liners and start actually living.

LOL, you are very naughty,
NO nothing like that.
What hurts, well, seeing what i've done so far with my life, what i could have done, and what i should have not done. Maybe knowing that because i've always chosen the safe route in life, and never risked to do anything crazy, always putting logic before heart, (does this make sence so far), well, like a lot of people, there is always that big "WHAT IF" i had done that instead of that. (Are you still with me)

Well, you are right. I think you shouldn't think too much about the past or worry about the future. It's not going to help you in any way. Just think about what you would do
now, in the present... That's what I do.

It seems to me that the first and the last sentences contradict each other.
But of course both are wrong anyway.
I'm not sure that an individual can be said to have a meaning to his life but I'm a 100 % sure that there can’t be said to be an overall meaning to life that goes for everyone.
Look. Take an object - say a chair. Now the guy that made the chair might well think that the meaning of the chair is to sit on it. You might think that its meaning is to put pot plants on or just as decoration (its a nice chair). What I am saying is that things don't have meaning in them independent of people - you project meaning onto things. Undoubtedly life is not the same as a chair but the same applies, you give life meaning its not there inherent.
The point of the cognito is just that if you are thinking, you must exist. You can be wrong about a lot of things but you can’t rationally entertain the thought that you might not exist. that is the point Descartes made.
