Well, I once had poison ivy, and I was so desperate to get rid of it I wanted to just put a boiling hot iron on it, to stop the itching.

I understand your feeling. I have eczma (I have so many health problems.... I think I'm getting old. :( ), and sometimes want to peel my skin off when it's bad.

@All: Thank you for the concern. I'm feeling much better this morning, and I even managed to eat a small tub of yogurt. :)

Glad to hear it :) :)

Well i had something called Heinoc Shoinon Purpera (spelt from memory, might be wrong) which basically caused my legs to become entirely bruised, i couldn't walk without great doses of pain, i had considered chopping them off, but i refrained which is probably a good thing ;)

Hmmm...I know this one well, only my skin does peel off  there are times when the itch is so deep, scratching doesn't do anything but make the skin peel and blisters burst. So often I have eyed that tub of caustic soda thinking the burn would take the edge off the itch  :D ;)

Yes, chopping your legs off is not good Mr Sleep.

I had black hole fever once. Something to do with escape velocity. :D

Try simply not eating for a while, and slowly introduce your body back to food. If it persists for more than 3 days, GO TO A HOSPITAL, you will become terribly dehydrated and will need an IV. Happened to my friend... and if you are an average sized person you might want to consider going to a doctor right away if you can't keep a glass of water down... it's a very major problem...

@ Sleepo, Minerva & Ysh : Try consume more vitamins, AFAIK your body sometimes require more supplement. So U better eat supplemental vitamins than relying from the food you're eating :)

I am supposed to eat??  :D j/k ;) I have had it since a baby, some grow out of it, some don't. There are a few types of eczema, the atopic, dry skin type is easier to control - that doesn't cause me too many problems. The blistering type is something a little more complicated and less predictable...I am thinking of looking into alternative meds since the prescribed ones do not work and the doctor is at a loss. They even gave me psoriasis creams  that was agony...
