Just the annoucers, the judges and the opening ceremonies. I personally couldn't stomach them. All the patriotic speeches and decisions, just because of the setp. 11 incident. I'm gonna leave it at that though.

Congratulations Canada :) I didn't watch the match but I saw the results. I hope it was a good match!

Yep - I might be a psychologist, but hockey is more interesting :D ;)

Nah, I actually love to watch many sports - well, I used to enjoy it a lot more before, judging problems and doping has decreased my interest. Even if I'm Swedish I still think the best moment of these Olympic games were when Belarus won 4-3 over Sweden in the hockey quarterfinals. The surprise and happiness among the Belarus players was great to watch, people in Belarus celebrated on the streets until 5 in the morning (just imagine how cold it is now on the streets in Belarus!). In an interview with one on the Belarus players who is a pro in the Swedish national B-league and said in broken Swedish "We didn't think we win against Sweden - we booked tickets, fly home tomorrow - now we have problem, what to do with the tickets?" :D :D

WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

CANUCKS RULE THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although it wasn't a 5-2 game. It was really close. Richter (US goalie) held the US in close, and key saves by the Canadian goalie sealed it.

WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was an amazing game. Some of the best hockey I've seen in a while.

I agree Gaxx. That was some of the best hockey played nin years. The only game I've seen that was better was a recording of the 1972 Canada Russia game!

Yes they are, the Pakistan Vs Australia matches used to generate a lot of media attention down here. Because of the quality of both teams and also of the rivalry that was rapidly being built up.
