Hey Wolven,

You might wanna clean out your PM box. It seems somebody has gone on a PM rampage, and your box is so full, you can't receive any new messages.....unless that was your plan all along. ;)

Well as we are all getting fed up getting multiple PM's and knowing that wolven didn't get his. I may as well post this once again...

For traps, a bard may come in handy. However I don't think any would be fatally troublesome. A bit of a downer really :D

Ya know, if we had brought the cutie Claire along, as well as the racially-biased, elf-slandering Gertrude, I think we wouldn't have to worry so much about traps.

Where were you on that one, Wolven? :p ;) I guess I can understand Bel not wanting Gertrude along, as she is kinda nasty to him.

Tamerlane attempts to chime in, "But me bard, me know traps good."

Be quiet, Tamerlane, everyone knows bards are worthless. :D

Okay peeps, if you have recieved Saigo's PM about scripting somewhere when we don't have everyone, I have an idea. Lets carry on normally and I will make my idea happen, don't worry, everything will be fine... :D ;)

But...I think he meant later on.

Nippy silences AJ's insubordination with a glance of pure fury.

Nevermind. :)

As far as I know, this is all you might have missed:
Until I can get Nolan there, why don't you guys script a situation where NOT having a rogue causes you a major problem or means you can't complete a mission/quest. I'll be along shortly to fill the gap. Nolan is a Ranger/Thief...

See you all on Monday... :p

Nice writing Saigo, I thought you portrayed the Grizzlefeet really well. :)

Just a few notes...

*Guys, what levels are we assuming for these characters? From a strict storytelling perspective, it doesn't matter, but knowing might help us stay consistent. AJ and Rail are both writing characters that seem to have some thieving experience in addition to their primary class. In order to write the character in my head, I need at least 2 levels (one ranger and one thief).

*Before long, I plan to introduce an evil mage. We don't have any magic users in the story at all, and without one in our party, having to face one could be an interesting challenge.

*Even before we bring in the first mage, we should probably make mention of the fact that they are rare, and that we fear and distrust them. Wolvie and I, not so much, having been around the elves all our lives.

*Do you think we should find alternatives to stating bluntly, "I am a Paladin" or "I am a cleric?" What about "holy warrior," "warrior-priest," "defender of the faith," etc.? I will probably refer to Nolan as "scout," "archer," or "ranger," never mentioning thief.

Thanks, Nippy. :) I'll get him out of there in the next installment, after developing his character just a bit more.

That's cool about introducing the mage, Saigo. Believe or not, I had actually planned on doing the same thing in my next post...alluding to a magic-user amongst the Hand.

And for levels, we agreed on somewhere between 4th and 6th level.
