I'm still not a huge fan of it, but while on the topic I have 2 questions.

Can the Defender hit Kangaxx?
And what dous drizzt say when you carry his equipment?
I never used the weapon of Drizzt (my import was a paladin and didn't used scimitars), but being a +5 weapon should hit Kangaxx.
I read that when you meet Drizzt having his weapons he will be not friendly to you (means he wan't help you or even attack you?).
You are right, your imported items will only help you in chapter 1, you will get much much better equipment in a short time, and actually I found the cloack of Balduran useful only very late when you can add the other MR items (actually I start using it in the last chapter of SoA and in ToB).

Hi

I know I risk being flamed, but here goes.
My favorite character is a dualled Kensei/Mage. I dual a 9th level lose nothing on the mage side, and I can still tank with him to the end of TOB.

Wheres that ring of fire resistance?

Probably not the most powerful class, but one of the really powerful classes and my absolute favorite class is of course ... Fighter/Thief.

The fighter/thief combo is one of my faforites to.
VERY powerfull backstab, enough thiefing skills for the entire game, and a good tank.

I liked it in SoA, I love it in ToB (UAI -> holy avenger)

Edit: Yeah thief is nr.1 in the poll!

Thats cool User, to each his own, im fairly sure everyone doesnt agree with how I play either. I was just saying hours of "spell research" isnt overally nessecary. Trial and error and reading the spell descriptions is pretty ok too =)

I'm partial to the Kensai/Thief dual-classed human. The "Use Any Item" skill the Thief gets cancels out any disadvantages, such as not using armor or missile weapons. They can even use items like Carsomyr!

I'm a recent kensai convert, and the archer's pretty groovy, but the paladin with his oh-so-shiny armour and chock-off swordageness is a winner for me :) (gotta love those damn fine saving throws)
