I've only been to the snow once. Getting back home was a nightmare. It was cold, dark and snowing badly and our car wasn't fitted with those chains you fit on your wheels so naturally, our car slid sideways and stopped on the side of the road. We had to wait for hours for some other friends we went with to come back with some chains.

I love snow! I've only ever seen it once, when I was on holiday in France a few years ago (Lake Annecy IIRC), but it was awesome! My mother and I made the world's most demented snowman.

Ah, weather topic! Yay! Something I'm good at. (Might take me a bit to fetch some Celsius equiv's, it's not fair if I go just Fahrenheit)
Here in Rhode Island, we have very weird seasons. This January we averaged around 55-60ºF (13-16ºC) every day with the highest being about 73ºF. (23ºC) Usually our average high is 38ºF (3ºC) and it snows about 14 times. It didn't snow once all year until the end of March.
February was very mild, highs around 60ºF (16ºC) all month long and no snow. The trees began sprouting leaves (which we shouldn't be getting until right about now).
March was very cold. Instead of being around 50ºF (10ºC) , it stayed in the 30's ([-1]-4ºC) with a lot of cold snow and rain.
April was very warm, highs peaking at about 100ºF (38ºC) but as low as 20ºF (-7ºC). It's starting to sound like Texas up here! LOL
So far this May has been a bit cooler than normal, with temperatures in the 60's (16-19ºC) but a LOT of rain. Usually we're in the 70's (21-26ºC) with little rain.
Gee, this weather is screwy up here...
And today, 59ºF (15ºC) and sunny. Happy summer.

Never got the chance to play with snow...
... and the closest (pathetic) thing I got to playing with it is the frost in the fridge.

I HAVE to ...I'm living there ! .... HOT summers, COLD winters and SNOW in abundance...but further north it becomes even worse....
I would really like to migrate south for the winter....
