My favorite is probably the slaver-quest in Copper Coronet. Second is definitely the tanner-quest. Then there is the De'Arnise Keep...liked that one too. Was a tough choice, really The slaver is the nicest, though, makes you feel like a great man you know? Like a real hero and a good man. And that I am, of course!
Robin Hood.
Centuries ago in England........It was an era of chivalry and magic. The evil Prince John unleashed an iron fist of tyranny upon the people. They called out for a champion.........one man answered that call. His name, was Robin Hood. Fearless in his quest for justice Robin Hood challenged the power of the high warlords. While protecting the helpless and the poor. Willing to face death for what he believed, along with the beautiful, lady warrior, Jaheira, the mighty Minsc, and the wise Keldorn. Robin Hood forged a legend that lives on today in............
The Shadow Lord quest in the Umar Temple is my favourite.
It's nicely balanced for an early attack. You can take down shadows, but this is balanced by the fact that there are quite a few of them, and some harder monsters scattered around.
You can recruit an NPC, a rather good NPC, who can turn it into a person vengance quest. Nothing like a bit of personal vengance.
You get puzzles to solve.
But best of all, it's not cut off from the game world (unlike something like the Planar Sphere) so if you get tired of tackling it, you can leave, but because there is an outside location, you may need to fight your way back to civilisation. Great.
Yep, this quest is my favourite, it had everything.........though the final bad guy was a little too puny for my tastes.
