Okay, fine. If you can pretend that Yoshimo never had a geas, then I can make Aerie a Cleric/Illusionist, and we'll both be happy. :p

Purifying Yoshimo's heart erans you 200.000 xp, pretty nice, especially if you do the Spellhold quest early in the game. Anyways, if you CLUACONSOLE xp probably isn't a problem for you. Can't understand it, though.

Don't know what sort of indication this might be...I started a new game, joined up with Yoshi and then imported that save game into ToB. Yoshi vanished.

I guess the real test will be at spellhold.

It seems that part of what makes Yoshimo dissappears might be encoded into the EXE file, if so, then there is no way to change it. Try going through Spellhold and then on to ToB after finishing SoA.

I don't know what will happen if you try to keep Yoshimo in Shadows of Amn, but since we're talking about Throne of Bhaal, I'll repeat what I said earlier. You can create Yoshimo from the CLUAConsole in a new game of Throne of Bhaal, and he won't disappear, to the best of my knowledge. I did a little test with him in the group from the very start of the game until the first hour in Saradush. That's about as far as I'm willing to take it. I did ask the Fate Spirit to summon other companions, and that had no effect on Yoshimo.

What this means to me is that there is nothing in the .EXE file to make Yoshimo disappear in Throne of Bhaal. Again, I don't know what happens if you continue Throne of Bhaal from a previous game of Shadows of Amn. Since variables concerning things like the romances carry over from Shadows of Amn, it's possible that variables concerning Spellhold, Yoshimo, etc. carry over as well, and perhaps they will make Yoshimo vanish. If someone really wants Yoshimo in the party, why not look into it.

BTW, can someone tell me if this is new in TOB:

Yoshimo (when selected): "HIYAAAHHH! Hehe, the tourists love that stuff."

Yep, that little bit of dialogue was added with ToB.

I was refering to the Export/Import thing, not the actual game itself; since kopywrite imported the savegame with Yoshimo and he dissappeared. I have looked at all of the scripts, and can find nothing else that links to Yoshimo's dissappearance - other than what I've already changed. I'm just not very sure how the game handle the transition between SoA and ToB.

Update

So far so good...just started the spell hold dungeon with Yoshi well and truly still a part of my group. Yoshi was still saying his pre-asylum dialogues (such as why are we siding with Aran etc ) and generally acting very nervous which in turn was making me nervous :)

When it came to the big moment, Irenicus said that it was Saemon that had betrayed me and ignored Yoshi.

Nice work Sabre! :) ;)

Next crucial point is the transisition between SoA and ToB.
