You know you'd hate being left out, and we couldn't have a pub crawl without our Georgeous now, could we?

I prefer to search but newbies attract newbies and they might be rehashing a discussion had several times on the forum, isn't that ok because you or I don't have to visit the new/old
thread.
Now, I guess this all dependent on whether the rehashed topic is an area of discussion or someone who wants a definitive spoilerish/techish answer to a specific question. If the latter, then by all means search. However, in searching for something as a matter of discussion might produce a couple of threads to intimidating to tackle. Example: Someone new joins the forums and wants to discover how lousy Anomen is in the sack. A search on this topic will yield one of the most heralded threads in the history of the SoA forum, however, this newbie might not want to tackle the 20 something pages to get his opinion in. I, of course, am of the ilk who will read the full thread before I post no matter the pages (alas, I digress).
Furthermore, the Anomen example is a lousy example because Aqua-Chan just revitalized the thread and may have in fact read the whole thing before posting. That said, I think I'll draught whomever (Ode, others???) and being a pub crawl. I feel intoxicated after all this nonsense anyway.

Besides, who else knows where the pubs close to their house are? Drunken Mario Kart and SF2 marathons, how could we pass that one up?

To answer Sleep's question:
I always begin with going to the producers site and check known bugs, known problems etc. Since most games are released quite late in Sweden, it's a big chance that the issues are already solved by the time I get my hands on the game.
If I can't find a solution there, I go to different game forums and make a search. This is not only because I'm so nice, it's also because questions tend to be much better answered when it's not the 23748th time it's asked.
