A-yup!
Virtual PC they call it, you are able to run Windows within a Mac.
(Cant run Mac OS on Windows, can ya?)

I have an older version which runs fine, but if you try running something very memory intensive, like games, it either doesnt have enough RAM allotted to Virtual PC for it, or it will run quite sluggish, and the other problem is I would have to buy another BG that is Windows compatible...

well am i really missing out on anything?

the thought occurs, by the time developers come out with the Mac version they may have included all the bug fixes anyways after learning about them from the Windows releases, I did have to get one update and it seems everything runs fine.

Anyone know about product development and differences in the operating systems versions? perhaps I should start a new thread?

Cheers.

The Mods are worth it, they're keeping my fun MORE than alive.
Check the thread above mentioned, in particular the second post
in the second page (Quitch's post)
ALL links there...

I strongly suggest the Solaufein Mod and Ascension AT LEAST...
But mind you, the game will become incredibly hard even for an expert player with them.

Ascension should be the real end of the game, IMHO.
The story has improved, and the final battle is.... ouch
I AM an expert player (two years with no other game than BG2...)
but still, took me a week of reloads to win it!!
Someone gave up with that battle, but Kovi managed to SOLO it..
Praise to him!

About the additional ToB abilities....
Cheating? No. At that point of the game, those abilities
won't impact the game.
They were taken out ONLY because they could create confusion,
with all the other high level abilities and spells available
in ToB.
(Also with the other mods installed, even Bun Bun seems no more so powerful.... :D :D :D )
Fun? Yes!
And they're gained after some tests in ToB, they don't appear
from nothing.
