ATTN: User - Spellcasting Enhancements

The first time I tried that linch it was b4 I went in the underdark, man that was hard...... I allways lost, or lost like all my party members.

And when I thought I got her because she didnt use any spells anymore she casts Improved Haste, Tensers and BB of D......and went straight after ME!!!!

I got slaughtered big time.

So I waited untill AFTER the Underdark.......when I came back I was much and much stronger (obviously)......and I beat the linch like this:

I had Tashia and she had project image (like 4 of them, maybe more) everytime I send a PI in it was totally buffed and let the linch cast all her spells at the PI while the PI did some nasty things herself. This continued untill the linch didnt cast any spells anymore

So then I send my own party, also totally buffed and killed her very,very and again: very easy.......

I forgot:

Of course my first PI got dispelled, so I gave the rest of the PI's protection from Devination (hehe)

I did the same with the lich in the sewers. Only this time Tashia also had those Improved items (staff and rings).....so everytime I summoned a PI it cast all the greater elementals. That was the easiest run with that lich

archer, i dont think you can send a pi into a new map...in fact i am almost sure...so tashia had to be inside the room,

with spell immunity and mislead....to cast pi, and this will make her untargettable even though liches can see invisible...

what lich in sewers???

no liches in sewers, just roger the fence, sea troll and mind flayer area....

I think Archer meant the Shade lich.
He's in the Unseeing cult... Which is under the sewers.

User -> Im pretty sure I could send the PI in, could be a bug, Ill try my next game........I know for certain I didnt use mislead and all

About the lich in the sewers (or maybe better said: Cult of the Unseeing Eye place) he lies in that tomb, he has parts of Kangaxx.
I believe he casts alot of maze.

But those Improved Items can IMO be made kinda cheese with PI......U can summon like 6 Greater Elementals if your mage (who casts PI) carries them, bit overpowered I think.

Whoa, long time ago! I used my level capped solo Berserker-Mage. Lemme see...

There was a prototype lich I tested out in the open. Summoned a load of Bone Golems. I ran around lots trying to kill the golems while keeping away from the lich. I wasted all of my good spells, but fortunately so did the lich. After that it was just good old-fashioned bashing.

One or two versions later the lich had her own cozy little home in the abandoned warehouse next to the Shadow Thieves. The area transition was disabled after I entered, so I couldn't run out and wait for her protections to expire. I tried to stay away from her and send clones to do the fighting (as ever). I remember getting stuck in webs, being teleported across the place and choking some on Cloudkills. I believe she even killed me the first time. Second time I was even more careful and waited longer for her spells to wear off. Stealth and patience were the key to my survival.

She`s not immune to the greatest cheese ever...
Protection from Undead.

Beware, if you enter with one character protected and leave the rest outside, she will Tenser+Black Blade and go for the other NPCs outside. Leave them far away so you will have time to finish her before she slaughter the whole party.
