How about four categories, not only for colour/black-and-white, but one category for person subjects and one for non-person subjects.

*That's* art. :D

Is this still happening? I've got a couple of photos that I would consider entering, that is if I could get them delivered down here/scanned in from home...it's a great idea, frogus ;)

Bumping this thread a little...

...to be used for discussions on frogus' photo competition.

@frogus: may I suggest that the thread that you just started be a "post your photos only"? ;)

Mah, I have dited the title, but it does not show up differently on the front page. Can you edit that?

@Grunt...Hide & Seek is really lovely  . Nice one...

Anyway, if you have lots of photos, please feel free to post them in here. I don't want to have this thread turn into another 'Post Your Photos', so everyone stay on topic etc, but if you can't decide what to enter (like me) by all means post two or three photos in here and people can give feedback... :)

Cheers Frogus. :) Good idea about posting comments here.

That was an ex-girlfriend from Australia. She had never seen fields like that before. We had some good times. ;)

@Grunty: Nice pictures. I really like the "WIRE" pic ! Good work there.Image

Sadly most of my really good photopraphy is considered unsuitable for a younger audience ... ;) :D - but I'll look if I can find something for SYM...

No worries,

I'm getting the two pictures I took on a couple of school trips (Russia and Greece) scanned in and sent to me, so you should be able to see my prize-winning works in a week or so... :D

Nice, Grunty. I'm quite a fan of "Wire", too... ;)

This is what I've taken earlier. My friends said it's really original, so I should make it into a postcard and sell it in front of the Alhambra. :D

EDIT: Mmm, it's too dark on the computer. :(

Mmm...Excellent stuff @Gwally and Ysh! :) I see infants becoming a recurrent theme... ;) Ah well, just remember I started it. And mine's crying, so there!

I might change my B&W figurative piece today actually...

@Frogus, thank you :) My skills at photography (and later scanning) leave a lot to be desired. But that picture captures a mood for me :) btw, an infant does not have to be crying to be endearing - quite the opposite if you own a few :D ;)

@Gwally, awesome pic *hug* :) ;)
