If you need to get back into the Underdark just head over to the Elven Outpost and go in the cave that helped you reach the surface.

That's precisely what I did--how else? But there simply was no hotspot to enter it, once more.

That's very odd. I'm almost positive that you can return to the Underdark via the cave regardless of what you did or did not do in the Underdark the first time around. Well, if you can't return by way of the cave there's always CLUA.

That's okay. I don' t need to get back there. I only tried it a few times, and was responding to someone else's question on the subject. I wonder if it's a mod compatibility issue?

I've installed (and removed) various mods, but it's nothing I'm going to spend time on, at this point. I'm between BG2 games, basically waiting on the Return to Windspear mod before I restart. *Then,* I will do a complete deinstall, with selective reinstalls.

Hmm, it might be about the mods. When I returned to the Underdark, I had no mods installed. Now I have Sola, Valen, Tashia, easeofuse... Well, I'm at Sahagin city right now(improved) and will test out the return to underdark question.
(Btw, the improved Sahagin City at lvls10-13 is really hard.

Oh yea I also had mods installed. Almost all Weidu ones.
