Do NOT make this game harder! I find it difficult as it is and Im playing easy mode! Do everyone want their ass kicked 50 times straight against some umberhulks? Do you really want to reload that many times? I for sure dont. If you fail one two three times, changes tactic and wins, its funny. But it gets boring if the enemies are very powerful and kills you before yo get em to injured status. Well thats what I think anyway.

2.Second game..Started with my paladin again...different class this time. Used the walk thru here at GB to find the parts I missed....still had fun..Lot's of little stuff Black Isle put in the game..

3. Third game...tried a Mage/fighter..Dualed him at level 4( I did this in BG1...used CLUAConsole to get him to level 8 then exported him) Now it was a breeze...I knew were everything was at in BG2...some trouble still with the Hard one's(Dragons,Twisted Rune)

4.My last game...Used the last Paladin kit...no real challenge, kind of got old knowing what was coming next...but this was my fourth time thru the game and I believe I had already got my money's worth the first time.

My opinion...it's hard for first one's playing this type of game and a challenge for the others. But after the first couple of times....the challenge declines.

You've played through this game 3 times with the same class?! (Paladin)
The Paladin is IMO one of the best classes to use definaty, but dont you get bored playing through with him 3 times?, even with different kits.
Has anyone else played BG2 multiple times with the same class?

Little off topic...but I will answer it anyway.
My first game was with a Cavalier..two weapon style. The second time was with a Undead Hunter...two weapon style again. Now the third time I tried a Mage dueled to a fighter at level 4..(Used Staff of the Magi). The fourth time I used the Inquister..two weapon style again.

Now out of these..I would IMHO say the Mage/Fighter was the strongest..(The staff is a killing machine)

As for it being boring....would a different class make that much of a difference? Some extra quests and some different tactics. Plus it's a rpg. I chose this class and tried to enjoy my time playing it.

The point I was trying to make was...one or two possible three times thru the game and it will seem easy...no matter what class you chose...You will know what is coming around the next bend. Now if you haven't played a game like this before it will seem harder for a longer time...but in the end even they will find it easy.

As I said great challenge for most of the ones who have played this type before....hard for the new ones to this type of game.

Disclaimer.....this is nothing against new players or old players. Just my view on this subject
