For some reason the cliche..."You can't have your cake and eat it too," seems to apply here... :D

BS, lol! :D

I don't eat brocoli, it's much cheaper to graze, and it also saves me money on gas for the lawn mower :D

However my friend you didn't pick up on my subtle innuendo either :p

frogus quote - "what the hell kind of idiot question is 'do you like cake'?"

Same kind of idiot question that starts a good percentage of the threads in SYM - a "I'm bored and have no one in my life to talk to so I will post on SYM and bump up my post count - which will make me feel like I have a life" kind of question.

Wait a minute - that sounded really mean - and self deprecating - but sometimes the truth hurts. ;)

Frogus,
I am sure we all have made posts that are less than witty or inspired... ;)

I actually found the light-hearted nature of this thread amusing :) not to mention that it is interesting to track the evolution of spam with this kind of a topic :D

Don't scare the poor lad, no doubt the fact that he even worked up the nerve to post has caused irreversible trauma that will haunt him for months to come ;)

I think I prefer broccoli to cake. Not because the former is evil, but simply because of something deep down inside me. This brings up the whole issue of whether knowledge drives one to evil, or rather a kind of celestial predestination, like the relevant preference for broccoli. The question arises: are, then, the Luddites correct? Does technology corrupt? Or should we agree with the Calvinists, that corruption is inherent, and grace is given to the select few based upon an omniscent deity's prior awareness of who is, and is not, free from corruption?

Or perhaps there is no evil, merely unenlightened behavior. How can we determine which is more unenlightened? Cake tastes good, but fails for health reasons; broccoli tastes bad, but is healthy. Perhaps induleging in either is unenlightened behavior? For the fool would eat something that tastes foul, and the fool would eat that which will kill him.

That statement is a contradiction to itself. Cake and broccoli cannot coexist as one.

Two.

First Cake Broccoli can exist, in the same sphere that Carrot Jello can be served at my girlfriends thanksgiving dinner (WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT)

Second...

It could be said that the idea's of evil or good are meerly just moral authority. Something in which we are not forced to follow with, given man being a beast and only through teaching shall he know of what is wrong or right. Say a tribal man of Africa would look at both cake and broccoli as sources of food, not good or bad food but just as a meal. Cake giving him small short burts of energy and a dry mouth, broccoli giving him a little more regularity. Neither being good or bad, rather just being. Evil is only an idea created by man's desire to prove to others that he is GOOD and therefor better than the other man. In history it was most likely the "evil" man who propgated that thier current foe was evil, with lies and trickery. While the foe may have been just that tribal man. Who knew nothing of good or evil.

lmao, I never thought so many people would reply to such a nonsensical thread :D

I just wanted to see how many posts would rack up, and lighten up the subject matter here a bit.

By the way, who are baaasssie and AR?

That's true. i think it would actually be fairly difficult to keep a thread on topic for more than a few hours (or minutes) :D

BTW, I like cake too. Cake is good for you :D
