Aha but then we come to the "What about bullets plus 2?" question.
They still do less damage then piercing and biting, but they're plus 2 weapons (although now I'm writing this, I don't know if they are for sale in shops)
And the shield is still very nice, either the plus 1 plus 4 or something similiar.
