If you're talking about Crom Faeyr, that hammer kills golems too.

He is probably refering to the War Hammer +1 / +4 vs. Giants from the de'Arnise Keep. ;)

Isn't that a dwarven hammer?
So i figured that dwarfs see all humanoids as giants, but I never use it anyway.

PS. there is a giant in the watercity (don't recall the name)

To clarify...

No, I'm not talking about Crom Faeyr (which is very nice), I'm talking about one called the Kneecapper, or some such, correctly identified as +1, +4 vs. Giant types - yes, there are a few ettins that it will probably work on, but they're severely lame-o fights by the time you get to them without that

It's sort of like putting in a Sword of ultimate Green Dragon smushification +1/+86 versus Green Dragons, but no Green Dragons to fight either! Now, maybe a ring of bovine protection would be a different matter.....

I think that giant trolls and the big golems count as giants, but I could be mistaken. I know the dwarven thrower does extra damage to those atleast.

"Now, maybe a ring of bovine protection would be a different matter....."

Neph, are you aware there really is a spell called "summon cow" i actually use on a regular basis???

level 2 mage spell, will drop a cow on enemy, once it killed firky for me,.....

and yes, you actually see a poor betsy fall from ceiling on the enemy.,...

just create "scrlzz" and now your mages can summon a cow and drop it on dragons..

so a ring of bovine protection will protect you from summon cow...right???

actually a very good spell, bypasses magic resistance, and does the same type of damage as ring of ram...
