It shouldn't matter. AFIK, the size penalty only applies to offhand weapons, so the hammer shouldn't be penalized. A dagger is not penalized, so the only benifit of wielding a short sword in the offhand is its 1d6 damage range versus 1d4.Originally posted by Yshania
