sorry I ment to write 100101010, which actaully is -42 g.p. this is actually only 00101010 with a negative sign infront of it........ not that it matters or anything......

the fact that you are sending the data with a word length of 8 bits, and hance can only send number between 2^8 and 0, to increase you just use a larger word length..... the fact that the first signal sent is a 1 tells the computer that the whole number is negative that is sent........
Well enough about binary code, it is not THAT intersting
