nice to see you here... I bet you are blonde too, right? Image

btw There are not many blonde Greeks. Darker colors, ladies and gents, or you must refer to some decadent Scandinavian gods (they are all blond and whimpy).

No I'm not blonde...actually I'm "dark blonde"......sorry to disappoint all of you... Image

Whimpy??? Okay so you can't compare Norse mythology with Greek....but still I wouldn't say that Norse gods are whimpy...just picture Thor with his hammer and lightning all around him....

Did you know that as late as the beginning of the 1900's some people in Sweden still seriously believed in the Norse religion.....

i don't do id- i had it on for a bit when i first registered but i thought the words 'student' and 'newcastle' could possibly be used against me...a la gruntboy... also i read what chrissy said about cyberstalkers on oprah and i was a tad scared so i decided to remain anonymous for a bit.

drakron- is this a mutual thing between you and chrissy or is it one-way unrequited cyber-love/lust?

Chrissy kind of leads him on, if you ask me. But she likes the attention, and it's probably good for Drak because some other woman tore his hear out. He's a good guy (I imagine him kind of as a Don Quixote type knight, with the raggedy armor, but not quite as crazy).

Imagine Thor. A biiig sturdy blonde (Lmao) guy, muscles and all... and a giant war hammer in his hand.
Well, if he wasn't whimpy, what would be the use of the hammer?
Any psychologist you ask will tell ya: This is a phallic symbol (it is phallic in English, isn't it? It is Phallico in greek) a masculin symbol... a DICK symbol, to get you understand what I mean.
Decadent, if you ask me. Our gods did never use additional dicks, they had their own Image

Vixen. In every day life I may be a bit of bitch, but I can't hurt poor Drakron is lets keep it in the middle wether I like him or not... He is indeed a good guy.

I don't think your age will give too much away as long as your real name stays off the net and you don't give too much away about where you live or what you look like. (I mean, how many blondes are there around there)

I think Greek Gods are overrated. Most of their legends (hercules and all) are created so the nobles could say they were related to a god. (Ubik is gonna yell at me for this one Image)

SInce you do know about history, there are some very interesting edolia (statuettes) that are representing the REAL THING!
you know what I am talking about?
Image

(edit) Chrissy, wb! No, I am not going to yell at you... after all, Greek gods are not only our (greek) heritage, but the heritage of the whole western civilization (and, no, I am not proud of this, I hate the w.c.). So, if you make fun of them, you make fun of your culture as well Image

@Ubik sure do. Wasn't there also a cult that used a giant phallus as a symbol?

@Drak What are you up to? Careful with that axe Eugene.

I'm not too pround of wc either Ubik, but at least it's several centuries old, compare it to the Americans who are so proud of their 'old' buildings.

Haven't I told you I like Greek mythes? It's just that I don't believe in gods and heroes. (gets struck by lightning several times Image)

Ubik; Thor was a slayer of giants. The hammer most certainly came in handy during work hours. Or did you want him to strangle them? Image

Uhmm... you don't?

Actually nobody does, but this is not the point - they are fun, in every aspect. Ain't they?

Especially the Greek mythology with everybody doing it with everybody, Zeus had dozens of childrens with dozens of women, Dionysus god of booze and sex... Hey, those ancestor of us knew how to live Image

@Astafas: Well, ok, lets say that Thor wasn't THAT wimpy... Why would a man who can call in lighting and thunder need a bleeding hammer to do his job???

I am telling you, it's a Froydean symbol allright

Maybe Thor was also the god of blacksmiths?
Just a suggestion, don't kill me.

Yes the allmighty Zeus and all his kinky tricks to seduce women. (hello, who follows around bulls and golden rains and all that stuff? little idiots, every single one of them...)

The most horrible story ofar has to be the Odipous one (with the dad-killing, mom-boinking and stabbing out the eyes... yuk)

Thor was the son of odin, god of war, death, poetry and wisom.
The Norse believed that during a thunderstorm, Thor rode through the heavens on his chariot pulled by goats. Lightning flashed whenever he threw his hammer, Mjollnir. Thor also wore a belt that doubles his already considerable strength.

Chrissy: Americans proud of old buildings? Which ones are you referring to? Americans love big buildings (nice and phallic, like the Empire State Building, Sears Towers, etc.), but never old buildings. We just tear them down for our economies sake.
