I think any of the large cats are cool, especially panthers. Opossums are cool, too, they have opposable tails, and pouches like kangaroos! ;)
If I asked, would you answer? Its your problem. Its a deep, deep problem. I have no way to ask about that... I have no elegant way of stepping into your heart without tracking in filth. So I will wait. Someday, when you want to tell me, tell me then. -Bleach

Well Tam had a cool picture of birds for the thread, but it didnt fit attachment requirements, so Ive reshaped it. I dont think its the animal he wants to be, but damn....the birds are awesome. Theyve got feathers to be proud of.

They are called Rainbow Lorikeets.

...dolphins.

LMAO @Jaesha...no, they certainly aren't a myth. They quite literally sniff around your backyard in much of the Southern US :D ...also, they are the most common roadkill out on the highway, it seems.

The coolest animal, without question, is Canis Lupus, the Gray Wolf.

Dolphins. Plain and simple. I remember being so mesmerized by their play, that I lost track of my family at the aquarium one summer, and sat and watched them for hours until they eventually found me.
Then darkness took me, and I strayed out of thought and time

Damnph! I didn't even know those thing existed...! Though I have seen pictures before, I had no idea they were so big. Love their lazy yet curious eye-stare...

Great pics, everyone, especially those birds, Ty! Like the grackel and the flying rainbow meat.

Awesome pic @ Chan! ;)

I love birds, especially game birds in general. Cutest, btw, is penguins. :)

So they say that the tiger was to blame while the guy had climbed in himself?

C Elegans of course, nature's gift to science.

Apart from that, I love snails and wandering albatrosses.

And I wonder what this fluorescent submarine creature I once met at night in a bay might have been...it was stunningly beautiful.

However, there are so many cool animals once we start studying their behaviour...
