...how you doing? Been busy of late, and I try to avoid being too visible since RL work demands a lot from me now. :(

The msn is too addictive. Try as I may, I easily get distracted. ;)

Hope things are fine with you. :)

...more like my work as a student.

Upgrading my thesis proposal.

Problems last week? Well, I do hope that things are indeed fine for you now. ;) :)

...here in Bangkok. Things are so hot and humid here during summer. :(

Of course, if things get cold, there's nothing like a good cuddle from the S.O. for that comfy warmth at night.

As for msn, I was tempted to log in, but I had to resist since it gets in the way right now with what I'm doing. ;)

Nice place you have here...

Dogs under the front porch, rusted Chevy nestled in the overgrown weeds outside, and banjos playing in the background. This looks familiar. :D

Let's look at the menu:

Moonshine!: Available at markit price, when grandpappy feels like sharin'.

Catfish: Yeah, all the fish grandmaw caught last week from the pond, fresh out of the icebox. Don't need but a few teeth to eat it, too.

Outhouse Special: Once in a while granny cooks up grandpappy's favorite supper. Served with a side of those funny little vienna sausages. The outhouse is found thru the back door, to the left of grandpappy's old '56 Chevy. :D

Kool-aid: Always got some of that. A Hillbilly Cafe tradition. Drink it sittin' down - grandpappy always adds his special touch to the pitcher. ;)

Pigs in a blankit: Yup, little hot dogs wrapped in a biskit, warmed up in the woodburning oven. If you can't eat 'em all, throw some to the Weasel under the front porch.

Although it's still a bit early up here in these parts... *Looks around for a drop of moonshine*

Say there Gwally, look what I found on the menu:

Grandpappy's Instant Breakfast: Found on highway 41. Choices: (subject to availability, just ask grandmaw what's cookin' ;) )

Armadillo n' eggs: 3 day old armadillo served up with some liquid chickin (eggs to you Yankees). You can get 'em scrambled, scrambled, or scrambled. The 'dillo is ready to serve as is. ;)

Coon: Grandpappy hoots and hollers when he finds one of these on the side of the road. Good eatin', and even better when it was done in by an 18 wheeler.

lol! And for those really special occasions --like when he wins free Nascar tickets-- I'll bet Grandpappy even marinates the racoon in moonshine for that extra bit of tenderizing ! :D

Hmmm...

Or, when Jeff Gordon wins, he even throws in some of those funny little vienna sausages. :D

Clothing for Men:

T-shirt
T-shirts = T-shirts are allowable if they have witty sayings such as "My wife said it was either her or Hunting, Damn I’m gonna miss her" or "BUD WISE ER"
Tank Top:
White will do in a pinch, but preferably one with Beer Advertisements, Hunting, or some sort of Car or truck.
Flannel
Need I say More?

HATS

A Simple ball cap with a Gas Station Logo on it is suitable. However, a Straw cowboy hat or a Black Standard Cowboy hat will also suffice. The Pith helmet is also making a comeback. Remember that anything with John Deere printed on it is suitable from everything from weddings to parties.

Other Important Grooming :

Please remember to slick back your hair with Bryl Cream, Mousse with a little bit of water will also get this effect. Otherwise, make sure to get your hair cut "Mullet" style.

Scents : Aqua Velva, or Old Spice

Hmm Baby.......Now that sum sexy lookin fella :D ;)

LOL.......seriously, don't go knockin the black Stetson

Clothing for Women:

A house dress or Mu Mu Is the preferred Womanly wear, however the following will also be acceptable

Clam Diggers AKA Pedal Pushers, AKA Capri Pants, Red and Black are suitable colors

Stretch Pants – Fat thighs and butt? Show 'em off!

Mini Skirt
By all means, if you got the legs to do it, wear it! If you have had children, I advise not wearing this article of clothing, cause once a baby’s gone through your womanly passage, everything just makes you look like that "THE PLANE GUY" from Fantasy Island (short and squatty).

SHOES

Choose simple shoes, flats are best. Flip Flops and Slip on Fisherman shoes are also very chic. Most parties should be held outside, and heels would just sink right into the ground.

Hair

If your hair is already platinum, then you are set. However if not, you better be reaching for the Sun In and Lemon Juice.

Big hair is always in, whether it is your bangs, or swooped up in a Beehive, or what the youngins like to call an Up Do.

There are only two acceptable scents : Jean Nate, and those 99 cent cologne imposters from Wal-mart

If your in a hurry, some things to remember :
No Items

Pony Tails
French braids (Hair is already crispy you don’t want to break it)
Those damn Chopstick type things
Hats of any kind

Yes Items
Hair Nets
Rain Bonnets
Dollar Store Scrunchies
Dollar Store Barrettes and Clippy things
Use of a Tease Comb
Curlers
Pretty much sounds like my closet, except I go for the high heeled, open toed slings, they make your legs look better in the mini skirt :D
