If you have ToB installed your fists should be +4 at around level 25. Or use GWW with a plus 4 weapon. If you have bg2 unpatched you could beat him with, boneblade, cutthroat, sling of everard, flametoungue etc. If you have bg2 pacthed I think your only chance is the slayer.

Thanks Gebhard. But may I know why only the weapons you listed are affective against Kangaxx? Do they have special characteristic?
Bruce, I already tried to use slayer transformation. But I got killed because of the transformation itself before I could kill Kangaxx.

You need a +4 or better weapon against Kangaxx. More precisely... a weapon that hits as if it were +4 or better (which is why Flametongue and the Improved Mace of Disruption can be used).

All those weapons are no good. Because you only have 1 attack per round. Kangaxx can heal faster than you can do damage.

You get 10 att per round when useing whirlwind, no matter what your proficiency.

Yeah so why don't you wait until you are level 120. Then you wouldn't have a problem with anything.

well actually I tried to cheat with monk. I got until level 21, and the experience point stagnant after that. I couldn't level up anymore.

You hit the limit. Either install TOB or download cap remover.

Change when he turns demi-lich on you. And use ring of the ram to finish him off before you die yourself.

Damn.
Because I cheat and over confident, I sold that ring to somebody or perhaps gave it to a npc without asking them to return it.

I'm still soloing monk, but this time without cheat.
I met stone golem. Fist is no use against them. How to use monk to fight them? Thanks.

golems are a piece of cake, after a certain level they can't hurt you,
use your special ability "quivering palm" on them
or use the stun blow
the only real thing you can do is hit them, (with a special ability)
there is a soloing monk help in the strategies check it out
it has lots of helpful tips

Some of you said use sling of Evarard +5. Please take note that it's only available to people who bought BGII pre-order version. I wonder why this happened?

Anyone can download and install the Bonus Merchants. GameBanshee offers them, as do a number of other sites.

In the city of cavern, I need the Sekolah Tooth. My charisma/wisdom is not high enough to talk that beholder into opening the chest. So I have to take him down. But the chest is lock. Without spell or thief ability, I can't open the chest and stuck right there. What need to do?

I am really stuck. Imoen is dead. The beholder is dead. I'm a monk. Nobody can help me open that chest. Please help.

Finally, I finish soloing the monk. I also got the Ring of Gaxx, but I need help from Imoen. I'm not really soloing afterall. Some subquests need NPC's help. But once that's completed, I'll ask them to leave and I'll return for them agin if I need thier help.

is the daystar effictive against the demilich?
it is a +2 weapon, but gets +4 against evil characters (and double damage vs undead)
and/or, can the sunlight from the daystar hurt it?
