No contest! But I prefer kensai/mages as they’re more interesting to play and stylish. Well, not *enough* actually, so I just created a new kit a bit more extreme than the kensai... :)

I don't wanna bug you, but no one has yet been able to answer may question about the whereabouts of an Imprisonment scroll in SoA... there is neither one in suldanessalar nor in ribald's secret stash...

As far as I know there are now Imprisonment scrolls in SoA and I have never seen one dropped randomly either.
Yeah Littiz, tell us more about your kit.
You got me into playing a kensai/mage now I feel like playing a berserker/mage.
But i must say my favourites are the swash/mage and the blade.

I'm fairly certain there is (or used to be!) at least one imprisonment scroll in SoA.

http://www.baldurdash.org - Emonster's Journal

I'm fairly certain that Elmonster had to cast imprisonment at one point...

Well, I searched that journal all through. Though 'Imprisonment' is mentioned several times, it's always from the enemies (such as Kangaxx or Elder Beholders). No mentioning of Imprisonment as a scrol.

Hm...

Well, IIRC there were a few times when he mentioned scrolls as "too many to mention", but I'll take your word for it. I was probably thinking of the TOB section, I guess.

I can't rely on 'too many to mention' and actually I think that IF there had been an Imprisonment among them, it'd been mentioned clearly.

I wonder if you can get Imprisonment in that fancy spellbook you get in Brynnlaw...

tell us more!!!

Glad you’re interested!
It’s similar to the kensai, but with a huge “moral boost”, a more restricted fighting code and somewhat “spiritual” abilities. Specific HLAs will be added.
It’s a minor part of the little mod I’m working on with the “Balance Master” T.G. Maestro. Hopefully we’ll release the first two or three components very soon :) (though we don’t have a website, thinking about it....)

Oh no. The highest level spell in that book is Spell Turning, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm almost sure that only sorcs have access to Imprisonment in SoA. (Sorry for the off topics! :p )

urm....littiz, buddy, there already is a very spirtual kensai kit called

Baldurs Gate II: SoA/ToB
Morituri Kit
By Aroc (aroc@otenet.gr)

it seems to combine most of the best abilities of monk, kensai and barbarian...

no magic items, magic weapons only...

its actually a very interesting kit with many fairly extreme powers...

http://chosenofmystra.db-forge.com/myst ... m.php?f=47

it actually looks quite cool to roleplay...

good thing i don't ever role play...
:p :p :p

And there’s “already” mine :p
I can proudly say that I wasn’t even inspired by that monster, I didn’t know it.
But *you* should know that I wouldn’t even play with a... a “thing” like that!
All the in-game existing abilities and immunities are hacked in...
I say, just a few powers (and penalties) but enough words to justify each.

Tastes!
Anyway, mine is just a kit born for personal use in the first place, added as a “bonus” part of the mod :)

well, of course you know "my" tastes...

currently I am actually kinda squinty hack modding up a kit...

the sorceror druid+cleric...

just a plain vanilla kensai sorceror with a few cleric spells added...you were right, buddy, you can only really hack the game with near infinity...hehehhehheh!!!!!!!!!!!

I just tested out proof of concept, and my new

uber powerful sorceror kensai druid cleric is ready to roll....

time to hit improved battles, ascention, redemption, tactics on core!!!

:D :D :D

ps...you mentioned somewhere that the master brain in improved battles is outrageously powerful...i didn't see much in shadowkeeper...what makes it so nasty???

i got imprisment scroll from a wild surge :D

Inquistor is a MUST! my m8 had a sorc in ToB with ALOT of spells, i emptied his spell book (took nearly 10 mins to do this) and it took bout 30 dam in total, which he regened by the time i had done! >.<

Jaheria - OWNS, nuf said

Wild mages better then sorcs @ low lvl + more fun :D (i cast fingure of death @ lvl 7,and it worked, HAHAHA!)

a pure cleric for healing.

Then i'd take a second mage in SOA and a swash/fighter (dual @ 10. fighter for THAC0 increase and armors)

and then wotever you want for a main char :P

Yeah I read the readme and it sounds awesome. But how do I install it? The install instructions don't work for me. Should I unzip the whole package or just the exe file? Whatever I do I cannot run the setup afterwards. Please help.
