Thank you all for a wonderful thread.
I won't go into details about my age only that I'm still in my twenties(scouts honor).
And Gwally, the baby isn't due until the end of this month but I'm sssoooo ready for him to drop.
we finally put the crib together and the baby room is coming along nicely, and finally the weather here is cooling down.

Once again, happy birthday (though it would be repetitive at this point, just couldn't help it), and may what awaits you bring you great joy when the time comes.

Suggestions to hurry the kid along:
Trampoline jumping.
Bungee jumping (if you do this one right, the umbilical cord acts like a second bungee and gives the kid a little extra thrill as he squirts out!)
Horseback riding.
As for the weather, yes I am glad that we're only in the upper 90s. Ah, Fall has arrived!

*grins* Another suggestion for helping the kid along... sex I am actually quite serious, it is some sort of chemical thing I think

We're working on it
I don't think it's the chemicals, I thought it would be due to the friction.

Actually, it is the chemicals. If I remember right, male... um...
stuff has a substance similar to Progesterone (sp?), which is what they spread on your cervix when the doctors want to hurry you along.
But really, its better to wait for the due date and beyond. The kid will be much happier to come out when he's good and ready. Most first-borns are a little late anyway. Mine was 8 days late, and forced my wife to go through 35 hours of labor before they did a cesarian! The second was three days early and labor was only 4 hours - she was in a hurry, I guess!

lol! And here I was attempting to dance around around the subject!
Gwally is right though, the little beggers don't decide to barge out until they are good and ready to, and inducing labour (especially by medical means) is not usually the best idea. "Due dates," are, at best, educated guesses so "late" or "early" are fairly relative terms

Left to nature, they come when they're ready

That said, I was not as ready myself as I thought I was with either of my two
Take this time to relax whilst you can, it can get a bit more uncomfortable as the months and years progress
