Hey Rob, you could always include a wizened, crazy, sagely old man in the mountains for them to stumble across. I dunno. Somehting by the name of 'I Sage' should be fitting :D

There is always room for good ideas.
Unfortunately Aegis, that's not a good idea. :P

What about a headless gnoll haunting the mountains? :D

btw, a dragon called Nippy?
Perhaps for the fairydragon. :)

Yes, but Kayless turned me into the headless gnoll. I was the odd sage long before then

Can you be a decapitated Gnoll Sage? It would still be very odd. :D

You had better exercise some caution, or some of that striving may prevent you from reaching new, and inspired, heights. :p

Hey everyone, I finally had the change to use the Dragon Wench in my quest.

It went great. The DW lives in a gipsy mobile home outside of town.
They adventurers entered and saw a strange man leave as they entered. They looked around and one of them saw the fairy dragon sitting ontop a wooden beam of the mobile home. As he wanted to alert his friend, it swooshed down scaring the other person who hadn't seen it yet.
The DW was a misterious women, green eyes and red robes who claims to be several hondred years old.
The adventurers actually thought she was the dragon. (dragons can take human form) Via the DW they contacted a red dragon who they alerted about a black dragon who was trying to take over his territory.
Little did they know (yet) that the DW is the daughter of the very old red dragon and the black dragon. The red and black dragon.. broke up angry at eachother. :D Thus the DW is a chaild from a broken home. The black dragon is the bad one in this case.

I'll let you know how this Jerry Springer afair will turn out. :D

I'm writing a new story again. :)

Auditions for cameo's is open. ;)

At an important time in the story, the players will find out that they are special and are in fact, not normal humans/dwarves/elves etc. For people like them who are destined for greatness, they are brought to a academt for them to devellop their skills under the guidance of skilled teachers.

So far, the role of wizard teacher is already taken by a character of my own inspiration. That's why I came up with the following NPC for fable:

Fable
Academy Loremaster and keeper of the grand library

Anyone who needs information or guidance comes to this deviner. All of his life Fable wondered Fearun and all planes in search of knowledge. His library is an impressive one and the books written by him are only surpacced by those of Elminster. Every once and a while, even Elminster comes to Fable to call upon his knowledge though.

Even thouh Fable doesn't give any classes, he is well known amongst the students.

*cough* How about an eccentric dwarf combat instructor who teaches the art of bludgeoning using rather... *ahem* unique weapons *cough* :D

Wearing nothing but a loincloth?

But a dwarven monk is a good idea... perhaps he could teach a lesson in combat, using only what you can find in your environment... like fish. :D

Hmm, a training that they can only pass if they think creatively is cool. I'll need to work something out but it will be hard.
