Favorite lightsaber colors?
ya if u get bandon's saber on manaan as ur 2nd to last star map, he drops the saber. you can't change the color or it'll be screwed. i got upari and solari and you get +9 +8 (+1-6). or you can get 100% stun and +6-14, which are my two prefs.

I realise this thread is about KOTOR, but as a person who also plays Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy, I must say my favourite lightsabre colour is orange, which seems to be available in academy but not KOTOR.
Im guessing as a rule (and I know there arent really any rules)
light - blue, green, yellow
dark - red, violet, orange
Seem to be standard. I recall that in Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast, the dark apprentice had an orange sabre also.
Honestly though, all the colours rock. Typically dual wield or staff looks best, and I love how the different crystals modify the colour, look and feel of the sabres.
All I can really say about KOTOR is that I couldnt help after finishing it that I wanted more, which is possibly a good thing.
Lets hope for a full expansion pack or even better a sequel!
I know downloadable content is coming, but it doesnt look particularly promising (im an xbox user by the way).

Always blue. The lighter, Manter of the Force blue is great as well. For some reason I don't like the Heart of the Guardian orange, red is too common, violet is Mace Windu's and his alone in my mind. I like using green when playing with one lightsaber only for some reason, but other than that - it's blue all the way.

I like green best, simply because my favorite class is the Jedi Consular, and having any other color would just be not true to the class, I mean I even make my offhand saber green. Though this is only when I use a lightsaber, prefer a upgradable melee weapon for the offhand, doesn't have as many problems with shields, plus you go to all the trouble to upgrade them and what you give it to the NPCs, oh well just my personal preference.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the homosexuals and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a homosexual. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a protestant. Then they came for me--but by that time there was no one left to speak up."

I really can't decide which color I like I usually like purple the best, but when I'm purple I always get the Mace Windu feel which isn't bad, but Mace Windu's signature is the purple lightsaber in my opinion. So I feel like I got to be mace windu to have purple lol. So I like to go with blue. Plus blue is my favorite color and then I also go with green. So blue & green.

Violet is less popular?
It seems really funny to me that almost every single person here that chooses violet (almost 50%) chooses it because it looks like a dark jedi's or because red is to overused. However, with 50%!!!!! of the people that posted here saying that violet was their favorite, it seems that it is the other way around!!! By the way, I'm a purple fan too. Also, the only two people that I know of that used a purple lightsaber are Mace Windu and Anikan Solo, both of whom are light jedi. Nuts!
