Oscar nominations out

I guess "Lord of the Rings - The return of the King" was the big winner of the Academy awards. 11 oscar awards, means it won every category it was nominated in. Puts it in a joint all time best together with "Ben Hur" and "Titanic"....

LotR got its bag full of Oscars but I feel really sorry for Weir's film (Master And Commander) which missed out because of the whole Rings craze. Any other year and it would of cleaned out the awards.

Yup, it was my favorite movie of the year.

I dunno, but I think City of God should at least have got the prize on best edition... But LoTR has a very good movie too.

Kinda disapointing.

I think it just goes to show that many of the Oscars given to Return of the King were more for the trilogy than for the individual movie.
