Persephone was a Pollyanna, though she’d probably disagree. Although she might acknowledge pessimism in some potentialities. But pretty Persephone’s predisposition isn’t really of remark. Peaches were her passion, though she preferred them in the dark.
Peter ate them in daylight, imprudently unabashed. Penny was always pensive as she prudishly nibbled them from a parcel she had stashed. But neither Pete nor Penny could match Persephone’s potent cupidity. She’d polish of a dozen or more in front of all to see.
So it might possibly shock or perturb to learn Persephone’s peaches went amiss. How she pondered their absent fuzz and vanished piquant kiss. She sought them from Peter thinking he probably did the poaching. Penny played coy because she enjoyed Persephone’s coaxing.
The peaches never did present themselves, and Persephone plaintively cried. Without her preferred pungent morsels, she’d rather just have died. The moral of our parable, if one must present itself, is: Pretty Persephone could have anything, but tangy peaches were her real wealth.
I agree with der Moench. It clearly wasn't a serious story or a serious entry, but if it floats your boat to let me know I'm breaking the rules, set sail Georgi-boy.
50 lashes with a wet noodle for being in poor taste!!! Georgi is not a boy, and thread crashing is...well, it's rude. Crass. Boorish. You know, that sort of thing.

Exactly what is thread-crashing? Is it the type of offense a jr. assistant moderator would accuse someone of?
