I seriously doubt it, seeing as it is not a plot item, but a "regular" item, just in description connected to Aribeth ('s death??).
I still wonder and puzzle over that ring ...

You can find it in the merchant "TWENTY IN A QUIVER", in the Docks!
Im not sure my memmory is correct, but I think that you can also bye it from Johnny in Helms Hold basemnet!

That is not the ring we are "investigating" so to speak. The ring they are selling is the "Ring of Wood Elves" and not "Aribeth's Ring", which you can read in some of the earlier posts.
There are *2 versions* of a ring called: "Aribeth's Ring" in the tool set.
There is a ring called Aribeth's Ring that is the plot item you get from Aribeth in chapter 2, and then another ring called Aribeth's Ring, which is the strange one.
The reason why I'm interested in the second Aribeth's Ring is that it has a description of the death of Aribeth, but it isn't given if/when you slay her later in the game. As it can be seen in some of the earlier posts.
