I worked out that with Robe of Drakes Pride, Necromancers Amulet, and Asliips ring the maximum Magicka of a High Elf, if the intelligence is 100 will be 683. See the thread I made for info on this.
Yeah they have more Magicka than Bretons, but I don't feel that I need it all... My Breton has 350 right now and none of the items mentioned above... yet.
