Well... yes! I always thought a lot of people did. We sure as heck aren't all powergamers here! :)

@Luther: Why do you sleep in anything Noble rooms? Peasant rooms replenish your spells just as well...

Roleplaying my man, roleplaying. What self-respecting reputation 20, level 16, 100k gold pieces, Carsomyr-wielding adventurer would let himself and his girlfriend(s) sleep on a wooden pallet with a straw pillow?

This is actually good as you get double or triple the loot and experience. I haven't had it occur lately probably because I haven't rested or perhaps because I reloaded the game to clean out old mods.

This bug occured when ToB fist came out and was fixed by the official patch.
My version of Amon is overridden (either by ToB or Unfinished Business mod)

UB. He used to be called Sorcerous Amon and I think its just his name which has altered...part of UB restores some original names, the town crier being another one.
The sneaky thief who often escapes is Brennan Risling
As I recall, he makes a very small appearance in BG1 near the Iron Throne headquarters in the city.

Ahh, that makes sense. I was wondering why they gave this guy special treatment. I only played BG1 once so I never catch these little things.

Very good point. My main character Isair usualy either sleeps in noble rooms, or... goes to a noble's house, murders him and sleeps in his bed :p

I always rest on the streets, it's cheaper that way.
