Hm, after DW's post, I thought I might bring it up. How should we address the obvious dual languages? Should we translate in the post, or should we let interested parties translate themselves?
I think most of the French can be discerned form the context, but if need be, one of the other persons involved can address the statement in such a way that the meaning becomes clear. Otherwise I would suggest a footnote in the post with the translation.

[BI have another question, what time frame are we looking at? I am guessing around the 1750s, or is that too far back? It's just that I might do a bit of research on the era

Actually, the story is set in modern times, with all of the technologies and information at our disposal tody, including the computer. It will make it very interesting when the 'Cartel' (Which has been around for hundreds of years) shows up on the scene to do a little 'witch-hunting' ...Some of our characters appear to be immortal...am I right Aegis?...this will also lend for some interesting writing when they reflect on the past in light of the present

Ah, so a modern time, eh. Changes my plans slightly, but nothing I can't work with.
Er, immortal? Maybe he just likes to bite necks

Checked
Yes, I think that the idea of wearwolves and vampires along with a real live inquisition in modern times might be very entertaining

I wonder how a modern inquisition would execute the supernatural?

Hmmm...very cool so far!
Though if I may add, this atmosphere reminds me more of the Mayfair Witches than it does the Vampire Chronicles - and Julian is a key character indeed!
Write on!

I think you are right Sis...Right after I started posting in the story I wrote Buck and asked him to take Vampire Chronicles out of the name. I don't want anything acting as a constraint. I am really hoping to get a lot of participation from the GB writers in this one, and I didn't want it to be limited to a 'fan fiction' format. I hope you decide to create a character and join in !
