Well there is a problem with the avatars, as is posted earlier in here.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

I'm missing the handy little box for "forum jump" ... or am I blind?

Well, now I found the box ... would delete this post but it seems that's no longer possible. :o

Not a bug, but a plea... ;)

Seeing that after we've moved to vBulletin3.0 there's been a re-introduction of accidental double-posts, is it possible that the "you cannot post twice within x seconds" where x is a number between 1 and five rule be reimplemented? It wouldn't really impede posting since it's rare that someone can post two constructive posts within 5 seconds, and it would take care of accidental double posts.

Actually, there is a 20 second forced delay between each search and a 120 second forced delay between each post. The problem with the recent double posting occured during a database corruption problem, which probably kept the forums from detecting the amount of time between posts.

I now have a way to cycle through the whole forums to remove any and all double posts, and will probably use this feature unless there's a reason why two of the same posts should exist. I can't think of any - anyone else?

Maybe in word assosiation :D .
And i know fable sometimes posts the same reply in diffent threads when more people break the forum rules.

@Buck, are you going to change back to the old layout with the avatars on the left?
Or are you going to stick with the current look?

PS. isnt a 120second delay a little long?
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

For some reason, it takes very long to load the front page. Not the forum front page, but the very first page of this web site. I don't have problems moving around within forums, but whenever I tried to go to the top page (whether from forum or from other website), I have to wait for a while.

EDIT:
It still has problem loading. I noticed that the top page GB log always ended up with white line (about 2 single space line height), and doesn't load properly.

Seems like there is a bug with the Active User Lists. It lists over 500 people as active (online on forum) at the moment.
Also posts I've read, continues to be listed as new, eventhough I've read them and closed down the site and browser.

Possible a "session variable" (time-out) problem?

passwords over a non-secure connection?

As a matter of fact, I'm unsure whether this issue arose after the migration, but I would like to bring it up regardless.
I just noticed that when I log in the login information (including the password) is sent over a non-secure connection. It might be pure paranoia, but because I use the same password for many services I know I'd sleep better at night if I knew the information was encrypted ;)

Since the secure pages were only required for allowing credit card transactions, they have all been removed. I don't know how secure logging in and logging out is with vBulletin, but since no other forum uses SSL (that I'm aware of), I don't think it's much of an issue.

Is it not possible for us moderators to edit in polls anymore? I couldn't find the option, when trying in SYM.

Here's one funny occurance that I run into constantly, starting today.

I've noticed that my last replies on some topics in the Temple of Elemental Evil and Tech Support forums are repeatedly showing up as having new replies when I'm the only one to have actually posted. I am logged in, and I do shift to different forums, so this is becoming an odd occurence.

Threads I have already read will show up in bold font even though I have already read all of the replies. This happens both when I jump around between forums and when I revisit Game Banshee after having been away.

There seems to be a bug with the Gamebanshee News forum.

Currently - I have the "Xbox 2 - Everything We Know!" thread as the latest one with unread post in it, posted today, when looking at the forum-overview.

But if entering the forum, this mentioned post is way down the list and the newest thread is "Ultima X: Odyssey Artwork Available".

I've marked the forum as read, refreshed, closed/opened, and still the XBox news is marked as newest and with unread posts, on the forum overview.

Edit: has happened again. News on my forum overview is still "Xbox 2...." and listed with new posts. But inside the forum, there are 2 new topics.

Bug?

With private messages, I get the window asking me to click to view my PM.
I can view it in:
OK - in a new window
CANCEL - in the current window

When I click OK, nothing happends.

Has anyone else had a problem with things like the question mark ("?") replacing apostrophes or quotation marks when copying/pasting with both PMs and actual Forum posts?

This has been happening to me repeatedly here since the changes. At first I thought it might be a keyboard problem, but I have checked, and I've experimented in other places, and it only occurs at Game Banshee.

A really irritating occurence.

Well, I'm not really sure if this has been mentioned already, but I've been experiencing a really peculiar bug when making a post. I was posting a reply to answer someone's question in the Temple of Elemental Evil forum. When I posted a hyperlink to an article that supplied where I got the info, the entire post I was working on erased itself. What the heck?

The thing is, I'd wish to insert the hyperlink to make sure they understood where exactly the info came from.

I still have a problem with the GameBanshee News forum, am I the only one with this?

As can be seen by the forum overview image, there is one thread listed as latest post.

But in the news forum, another thread/post is listed as newest, and the one visible on the forum overview image is very old (not even on page 1 I think).

I don't know what is the cut-off date or why, but I get this disorted view.
