The problem is I don't have any of the mods yet.

And with my barbarian dual-wielding axes it's be hard outfitting Korgan properly.

That's what I am playing this time through except I am using two-handed sword.
Here is my party:
Korgan
Edwin
Viconia
Yoshimo
Jaheria
Yoshimo and Jaheria don't complaint too much, and when they do they get punished. I may switch Jaheria, but I don't know with who and she is doing the Romance with me... I don't understand (she's said the whole "Where the hell are we going" thing three times, and the second harper rescue had a romantic note).
I plan on using Imoen to get through the underdark and then get Jan.
I have greatly enjoyed picking fights with as many good NPC's as possible. Especially Anomen and Valygar.

Think I'll do the classic evil party after all, and bring in the extra NPC in ToB. Cheers @ mynamewasstolen. I'll just CLUA in copies if the good battleaxes.

You are welcome. Half-orcs are cool.

I like elves best myself, but I hadn't seriously tried a half-orc or a barbarian yet and it seems like the barbarian class was just made for half-orcs.

I did berserker. Also well suited. I tend towards elven mages my self, but sometimes being big dumb and violent is good. I've gotten to the point where the cowled wizards attack me on a daily basis. Watching them kill innocents with fireball is pretty funny.
You could do watcher's keep early there is at least one good axe there if I remember correctly.

The cowled wizards have had a few run-ins with me already, but so far they've always won. The lesson here is that a low-level barbarian shouldn't go on killing sprees in the promenade

.
BTW, what armour would be most in character for a hall-orc barbarian? I'm using Aegir's hide+3, and that seems to be pretty good apart from the not-too-flash AC (+3). I do think a barbarian is likely to wear some sort of hide armour, but until I get the white dragon scale I'm not sure what to go for.

@Ode
IIRC Red Dragon scale is not plate class so you should be able to wear that. The shadow dragon scale is leather class so thats your best AC if I'm wrong, though not so much better as to make it necessarily better than aeger's hide since that has nice bonuses. I think any dragon scale armor is very RP-appropriate for a barbarian.

Unfortunately the Red Dragon Scale
is listed as a plate class

, guess I'll wait for the shadow dragon scale then. My PC'll eventually end up wearing the white dragon scale.

Use the flesh armour. It's pretty high on the evil list. But I agree that the shadow scale is the best, AC is 1 I think.
Killing cowled wizards is fun, I make about 10 000 gp and 20 000 xp in every encounter. And they kill the innocents for me Muhahahahahhaha. I would wait until your tenth level before you start being a bad man. Get a liscense so that you can fireball them in the middle of the city. They appear in a group and two fireballs will pretty much annihilate them. My rep is 2 and as such daggers cost me 100gp and most magical Items are well above 50 000gp. So you might want to buy everything before you start acting like a sociopath.
