True, true. I am having a lot of fun with the black jack tech, or the mugging them while they cry school of thought. for tough or nasty battles, with many foes, I am very fond of setting up nasty triggers and chains, zip my fighter mage in teh middle, and start whacking away. while the enemy is taking damage from my hits, and hopefully having spells disrupted, chian triggers and wipes them off the planet or hurts them badly enough to make them easy prey.
They call me Darth...
Darth Gizka!
Muwahahahahhahahha!!!

@Eminem:
It's a matter of likings here.
Fighter/mages are great, but I prefer gain more levels as a mage.
Still, with the kensai kit the Thac0 is enough, I almost never miss!
I think I have -5 or so.
-13 with imp. invisibility + Tenser!
And you can do without whilrwinds, I have 8 attacks/round with imroved haste, 2 less than with whirlwind, but imp. lasts 1 ROUND/LEVEL!!!!!!!
So whirlwind is a redundant ability. Good for straight fighters!
I miss more that hardiness (or how it is called)!
