You get out by using the exit to the surface, which is found in one of the three main Underdark side quest areas--I forget which at the moment, I didn't keep that point in my notes (though I've played through all three). There are *plenty* of Drow who will see you when you touch the surface, and your disguises instantly fall away--so it's a big battle, but not unwinnable.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
