Thanks UU, that's kinda what I thought. I only have one guy that uses a shield and as far as him buffing myself to untouchable lengths, I only buff for really hard fights, so I'll just stick to mostly dual weilding. I find you win battles in BG 2 by dealing out massive damage, not by not-taking damage anyways. Thanks guys :D .

Hopefully User quotet Axe of Un., that is one of the most powerfull main hand weapon even with upgrading mod; as for shield the upgrading mod let you available two interesting shield: the upgraded shield of harmony (just +1 Ac over an already very good offhand option) and the buckler of Amaunator (with Ac, Negative plane prot and some anti undead spell attached).

Regarding getting a very high Ac, remember that using the big metal unit (-9 AC) aloud you to use a shield and stack the AC: Big metal unit AC -9, Darksteel -4 AC, 18 dex. -4 AC, ring of Gaax+ring of earth control -3 AC, amulet of Seldarine -1 AC, cloack of sewers/balduran -1 AC, helm of Balduran/Vailor -1 AC, Axe of Un. -1 Ac, belt of Glory (upgraded belt) -3 AC = -27 AC!!!!!

A Blade with Belm/Scarlet Ninja-To seems really good.

...especially if combined with Improved Haste, Tensers and Mislead. You trade one bard for one bard and one fighter with double hitpoints, improved invisibility, fighter thac0 and 8 attacks/round. In short: Ownage :)

Blackrazor and Foebane... As long as you keep hitting, you'll keep regenerating, farthest I got up in health was about 350 something.

Barbarian - 200 Health already
+
150 health hitting Balthazar.

You'll never die.
