-Irenicus I would have said Sarevok, except when I re-played through BG, I thought that he was rediculously easy to defeat
- the adventurers in that cave were rather humerous, as was Drizzt and company

-What is your favorite class There all so fun! I like Blade alot, also I really like Cleric/Illusionists, or F/T/M
-Who is your favorite Npc Edwin, Kaigan (axe dwarf from #2), but Jan is the most fun

-What items is your favorite. Crom Freyer, I love my dual wielding crom+flail of ages cleric illusionist.

It is not that easy. Especially since it is a while since I played BG I and I still have to end the BG II...

-What is your favorite class? *Fighter or sorcerer

-Who is your favorite Npc? *Difficult one. Let us divide it. Jarlaxle or the spectator Beholder for people you cannot take into your party (though possibly Drizzt because we have all read the books). Viconia for the best (nonplaited) romance, Minsc because he is just so much Minsc, Yoshi for his dialogue and Sarevok because of his attitude and voice.

-Who is the most useful Npc? *Viconia (at high levels she is powerful), Keldorn (with Carsomyr- auch), Minsc (longbow and twohanded sword- auch), Sarevok (bad-ass MF with an attitude that knows how to fight).

-Which Npc have the coolest soundset? *Minsc, Yoshi, Viconia, Sarevok... hard to tell really.

-Which of the the BG1 BG2 or Throne do you liked the most? *They have different qualities. BG I made you feel much like starting a new PC in a "real" RPG and world, knowing next to nothing but being dumped in a nefarious plot that you have to defeat and unravel. BG II is complex and makes you feel alone in a complicated setting hunting an ever-elusive prey, building alliances, etc. I like that. It has better NPCs as well. ToB for the sheer power you get (I have a Lvl 40 ftr with two katanas maxed out and specialisation in two-hand-combo; Whirlwind attack and critil strike on supported by a Lvl 30 sorcerer, Viconia, Keldorn, Sarevok and a thief= dead enemy, very powerful game). ToB is possibly too much powergaming, the challenges are different than in the others, here you solve riddles, play with logic and bash heads, no alliancebuilding, no scheming etc, I think I like the two others better, but being powerful is strong.
SoA and ToB are too much of a Monty haul IMO.

-What items is your favorite? *Celestial Fury or Carsomyr, I have no-one who is really good with a warhammer, otherwise Crom Faeryr would range high. Lilacor for its immunity to charm. All these are at the right time and place to be of real and much use.

-Which end boss is the coolest? *Irenicus, Sarevok runs away too much for his power. You really hate them both, bit Irenicus' arrogance, cruelty, haughtyness etc is just it for hating him.

-Which encounter is the coolest? I expect you think of more than for example the Spectator Beholder or Noober/Neeber? Hard to say though, possibly fighting out of Irenicus' dungeon or Usht Natha, I really cannot tell, I kind of like others as well...

and-Which combat music is the best. * I have no idea.

In contrast to many others I actually dislike Jan BTW, he is funny and all that, but he is a pain, neither a good thief or mage and gets injured or die all the time. Not tough enough for my choice.

jan is THE best theif in the game. not only does he start with 70 points in detect illusions (which with a few level ups negates the need for true sight - big plus), he also continues in levels, which NONE of the other theives do (not including yoshi for obvious reasons).

jan is not the best primary mage, i'll admit. but as a secondary buffing mage the guy is right up there. probably second only to aerie (unless you use imoen/nalia as a supporting caster to edwin). and tbh, anyone who dislikes a character because they "die too much" needs to look at why the character dies. viconia has one of the lowest HPs in the game, yet you don't say she is weak. nor aerie, and we all know how uberpowerful she can be.

-What is your favorite class Inquisitor! Or thief.

--Who is the most useful Npc Keldorn. fighting mages can be SO annoying...

--Which encounter is the coolest actually i just recently got a new fav. i've never really used magic much, but felt like exploring. so i had just bought nalia timestop and somethingsomething horrible withering, and went to give it a try, against those up-to-no-good adventures at the den of seven vales (i had gone at the earlier, but had been to weak) they died in an instance. i've never felt such power!

ok heres mine...

-What is your favorite class - Figter plain and simple... Monks good tho
-Who is your favorite Npc - i cant answer this! Jans funny, Korgans cool... basicully all the EVIL characters! (and jan)

-Who is the most useful Npc - seeing as i have three tanks (saravok me and Korgan) i think edwins cool, his entire lvl 8 spell oage is Death spell..Death spell...Death spell, very cool on Wizard berserk script....
-Which Npc have the coolest soundset - remembr Kivan in BGI and jarheriah? they had a cool voice, for BG II probally Viconia or Saravok

-Which of the the BG1 BG2 or Throne do you liked the most - dunno... BGII or TOB... i've only just started playing TOB so its new.. so i'll go with that

-What items is your favorite. AXES!!!! Especially the Axe of Unyeilding +5.. instand kills .... i like Crom fayer too tho

Equip him with a good crossbow, choose the right spells and he will be extremely useful.
As for not being a good thief... well, can you point out a better one??

The only thief who can be better than Jan is a PC.... so if you don't want your PC to be a thief, the only choices you have are Jan and Imoen (But she dont get those nice HLAs)
