I finished KotOR2 a few days ago as a LS Guardian. I chose the options at the beginning of Revan being Dark Side Female. I think there was also a choice about Bastilla joining Revan. Anyways, when I got to Korriban and broke into the Academy Head's room, there is a Sith Holocron. I activated teh Holocron and it was Bastilla. She talks about how Revan left the Academy for the Unknown regions and hadn't returned yet, and that she (Bastilla) was going to go look for her (Revan).

So they both lived but are in the Unknown Regions. At least in my game.

Bastila sightings (Spoilers, of course)

To my knowledge, there are three possible appearances of Bastila in KOTOR II. They all depend on how you set Revan's alignment and sex at the beginning in Peragus (NOT on the Exile's sex and alignment).

1. When you gain enough influence with T3-M4, he will play a holo. If you set Revan to male, you will see Bastila talking to T3 about him, with different lines if he was light or dark (if you set Revan to female, you will see Carth).

2. Only if you set Revan to dark, the holocron in the Sith Academy will be intact. You will see Bastila talking about Revan, with different lines if Revan was male or female (if you set Revan to light, the holocron will ALWAYS be destroyed, whatever your demolition skills).

3. After you blew up the Ravager, you will have an interview with Carth Onasi about Revan. After you are gone, Bastila enters and talks to Carth. This only happens if Revan was light (if he/she was dark, neither Carth nor Bastila will be on Telos).

Nos. 2 and 3 are mutually exclusive, of course.

Bastila vision (spoiler)

And of course, when you enter Ludo Kressh's tomb on Korriban, you will get a vision of Malak recruiting Jedi for the Mandalorian wars, among them Bastila. But that is not her, only a vision, and an incorrect one at that, as the Exile is quick to point out. However, if only in a vision, it gives you the opportunity to kill Bastila, if that's what you always wanted.

O.k this is what happens. If you are light side you have to kill bastila youre self but you can TRY to redeem her and you will end up killing her anyway. If you are dark side you have plenty of options.I chose to make bastila as my apperintice, but had to kill juhani and jolee I was damn proud with my self after that!I had to deal with Mission and carth betraying me and and carth running away.I had to kill mission and zaalbar beacuse they would not swear alligence to me.Though zaalbar dose owe you a life debt you will have to kill him.Canderouse follows you no matter what,he sees you a the only jedi worhty to be an opponent. And if you spare mission then you will have to killzaalbar on the star forge. The droida are programed to follow you no matter what. And HK-47 is yours any way so it dosen't matter.Either way bastila has to go use her battle medation against the republic. You go to kill malak and choose to reclaim youre titleas Dark lor.HINT use adhesive gernades as well as thermal detonaters. You also have to use youre force power kill on the captive jedi so he will not get his health back.Ther are 8 of them. After that you must then watch the cinamatic wher bastila announces you as the dark lord once more.

You can save her whatever your gender is. I have done it 3 times with a male Revan as well. (I have the PC version, if it makes any difference.) She does not like being persuaded, however, so the choice of options is very important, especially for low persuade characters. I suggest if you want to save her you save your skill points for persuade unless you're a scoundrel.(Actually if you're good enough you'll only need a few points in treat injury before you get heal as you become a jedi. I'm sure most people realized that.)

Is there any possibility of unlocking all the cinematics so I can see for myself how they look like? Personally I didn't even get to see Carth after the Ravager, even though I was light side male... I'll get the 100% influence hack and go over my saved games to see the holos, but what happened with the Carth encounter I have no idea..

When you first spoke to Atton, if you said Revan had rallied the Sith on Korriban, then you won't see Carth.

If you choose that Revan was a male and a light-sider, you will see Bastila (in T3's holocron, in the first tomb vision on Korriban, and after the Ravager). You will also see Carth (in a hologram discussion with someone, I forget who, and (if the exile is male) in a holo-conversation with Disciple; you also see Carth when he leads the Republic fleet to Telos, and after the Ravager is destroyed). If you chose Revan was a female light-sider, you only see Bastila in the tomb vision; Carth, however, starts popping up everywhere (you see him after the Ravager and in all the scenes I mentioned before, but also T3 will have a holorecording of Carth, not Bastila). As was mentioned, if you chose Revan as a light-sider, the holocron in Uthar Wynn's room will not work; only if Revan was a Sith.

If Revan was a dark-sider, well, you won't be seeing Carth at all. T3 will have the holo of Bastila, and the holocron in Uthar Wynn's room will be intact and show you Bastila, but she'll be decidedly darker in both holorecordings.

As for saving Bastila, you can't do it on the Temple Summit. You can either choose to be a Jedi, in which case she'll fight you, lose, and run away to Malak, or you can become Sith again, and she will join you to kill Juhani, Jolee, and then fight with you on the Starforge. You can't save her at the temple.

Ok, i got the holo in Uthar's room, and i am playing dark side this time round, will that influence whether or not i get the message from T3? And how do i get the message out of the little guy, or does it just happen at a certain point?

You need a high repair or computer skill I think: you have to work on him several times to improve his motor functions/memory core and all of a sudden a holo of Bastila pops up... I've only ever seen her as a dark-sider (as I only found out about it later on) but I'm playing through the game again so with a bit of luck, she'll be all angelic.

And yes, as perverse as ascribing hotness to a computer game character may be, Bastila definately was. :D

Are there any other conditions I should be aware of to get the Holo to show up?

I have used all the repair options on T3 and recieved the +1 wisdom bonus.

Is the holo suppose to happen while you are doing one of these repairs or does it show up later in a cut scene if you have done the necessary work on T3?

The option to work on T3's behavioral core or whatever it's called should come up at some point. When that happens, you choose that, and if you have a high enough skill (computer or repair, maybe both, I don't remember), then you get the recording T3's carrying.
