He is no longer a paladin after he allied with the undead. But between he being a true paladin and he allying with the undead he did a lot of stuff that should have made him lose his paladin-powers. Now he chose to walk away from the paladin-path. To me that is something different...
i do agree with you on this... when he aquired the frostmourne he should have lost his paladin stance. but the powers on the other hand should have not been lost, but changed. but like i said before, who would this new "hero" be given to? the ballance of powers and the lack of the nutral heros prohibited this and so it wasn't put in the game. if there were nutral heros to bigin with, maybe blizzard would have put the fallen paladin (or somthing to that effect) in the game and had arthus change.

Why don't you reread my post rudar? I typed: I don't know if it is because they want the last word or if they can't except it until everyone agrees with them, because I don't know why. I just know that some people can't stop themselves from making it so everyone agrees with them. I didn't have a hidden meaning in that, because I don't give hidden meanings. I give people a piece of my mind whenever I want and I leave it at that.

If you go back and look at posts 7-12 you'll see that no matter what I wrote, you just wouldn't let me post my opinion and leave it at that. You kept asking me questions in which it was clearly obvious that the answers to your questions were in the very posts of mine that you were asking questions about.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

First, Rudar, Bloodthroe. PM's. There is no need to be bringing this dispute onto the public forums. It's one of those things where, for the most part, it's distracting and unappealing to other forum go'ers.

Second, keep in mind that Blizzard has set up a mythos seperate from that of DnD. There is no 'Fallen Paladin', per say. There is a counter class, being the Death Knight, but no such Fallen one. With that in mind, it only makes sense to believe that instead of those powers given to Paladins in the Warcraft universe are not actually divine in nature, rather they are just supernatural abilities and techniques.

Lastly, people have a misconception on the ideas of a Paladin. The original Paladin's were in fact knights who protected the church, and participated in crusades. They were above the common people, and made that fact known. Not only that, but they were ruthless in their practices. Hardly protectors of innocence. They, like the Teutonic Knights, were nothing more than glorified thugs, working for the Eccelesiastic orders.

Sure, np. I'll keep that in mind.

What I'm trying to say all the time (and have said) is that I don't *say* there should be another Fallen Paladin-hero or something like that. So dark_raven, it also won't be given to any group in Warcraft. I'm just trying to say that's a flaw in the story-line in my opinion that's all. When I played the offcial human campaign I found it very uncredible that Arthas kept his paladinpowers all the time. Every time I wachted the intro-movie of a new mission, I thought: Well, the Main Quest-information will say something like: "You will have to do without Arthas' Paladin powers this time" or "Your mission is to do (blah blah blah) so Arthas can claim his powers again".

I really don't care how they would have solved this problem. I don't call for a Fallen Paladin class. It just makes the story-line less credible when he keeps his paladin powers through the entire human campaign.

I know who they were like IRL, but isn't this a fantasy-game? In the movies between quests they try to make Uther look like the pope aswell. And in the beginning Arthas is a 'holy-boy' too. I know they did some nasty things IRL, but I think that the general idea of a paladin in fantasy-games is the saint-like guy.
