For anyone who have downloaded a copy of the Multi-Stronghold patch, please rename CEHALLE.DLG to CECHALLE.DLG, this file is linked to the Druid Stronghold.
I have sent the update to anyone who contacted me by email.
Manveru: can you post when you have received and uploaded the new copy, thanks again.

Sorry about bumping this thread up, I just thought that it might be useful.
Firstly, due to the release of ToB, which I hope will be in Australia soon. I want to ask anyone who have got these patches to tell me if you encounter any problems when running them with Throne of Bhaal.
Secondly, anyone who is planning to get them, you can either wait until I've check the compatibility to ToB or get them now. If you decide to get a copy now, please leave me your email address - either post here, private message or sent to my email - and tell me which patch you have - Happy Script or Multi Stronghold or both. So I can forward the new versions when I have them done.
I will post here when the update is complete, and copies will be forwarded to anyone who have contacted me by email, thanks.

Ok, just realised that the patches will have major problems with ToB, because they'll be changing the dialogue and script files.
If anyone have the patch, please remove it by deleting the files before installing Throne of Bhaal.
I have made a final version for anyone who wishes to use the Happy Script and/or Multi Stronghold patch AND does not have Throne of Bhaal installed. if you want them, please tell me and I'll send them.
I will try to make the new version as soon as possible, and will post here when they are done - but since I do not have the expansion yet, I'm not sure about how long that might be, sorry about the inconvenient.

Vegeta: Does that mean you want a copy of the Happy Script, which have the multi-romance thing in it?

Ok, I'm bumping this topic again.
I've found out that the script files are not changed in ToB - thanks to KaaZe for sending me those 18 files - which is really strange and is driving me a bit crazy trying to figure out how they continue the romances. Which also means that the SoA version of the Happy Script is compatible with ToB.
I've sent the newest version of the Happy Script to anyone who asked me to send it to them, as well as to Manveru so he can update his version.
Anyone else want a copy, tell me your email and I will send it. Will let you know when you can download it from Manveru's site. Thanks.

Sabre,
How does the Multi-Stronghold patch work? Does it allow one protagonist of one class to gain all of the strongholds?
About the continuing of romances: my best guess would be that another script starts off when the highest LoveTalk is reached in the original script.

Sabre I'll bet the ToB section continues with different BCS/DLG files. In fact I think I came across a hint about this but can't remember where. If I find out more I'll post.

PS. If you haven't picked up ToB yet, it hit the stores on Friday.

Okay, I found out where I got the idea from.
The late-game dialog for the NPCs is in their "25J" files, eg. Aerie25J, Anome25J etc. Still don't know where the romance dialogs are though.

Xyx: yep, the Multi-stronghold patch allow the protagonist to have all of the strongholds in the game, regardless of their class or if they have one already. Do you want it? Give me your email and I'll send the newest version.
velvetfreak: Thanks for looking up those files, I'll look into them when I get the game - my brother just bought it, waiting for him to get home.

Hello, it's me again, just got my copy of ToB. Just posting to tell that the updates for the Happy Script and Multi-Stronghold are complete. The updates have been sent to all on my email list, anyone else wants it, tell me and I'll send it.
I'll remind you again of what the two does, since there have been a few changes since I posted the descriptions.
Firstly, the Happy Script, this is an update of the Happy Group Script made by Sir Kalthorine Ut Wistan. I've updated it with files released from the Baldurdash bug version 3.5. Here is what it does:
- Prevent NPCs from leaving at high/low reputations, also I removed the 'unhappy' thing, so NPCs will not complain when the group's reputation doesn't fit their alignment.
- Prevent NPCs fights, so you can have any combination of NPCs in your party without worrying that they will end up killing each other.
- The multi-romance is also included in this as well. There are three versions of files that linked to romances.
"_1" - normal romance; you need to be the right race, choose the correct dialogues and all that sort of things.
"_2" - (half) normal romance; you can be any race, but you still need to choose the right dialogues and other things.
"_3" - (multi) romance; you can be any race, don't have to worry about dialogues or any other thing.
The Multi-Stronghold patch simply allows your character to have all of the strongholds in the game, regardless of your class. This works best if you start a new game, but it also works for savegames. The only problem is that if you already talked to the person that give you the stronghold in your savegame, resulting in you not getting it. If this is the case just email me, with the stronghold you want and I'll search for the codes that's needed for it - this might take a while, so please be patient.
Edit - Newest version number: Happy Script v3-1.zip and Multi-Stronghold v1-5.zip. If you have an older one, and did not contact me by email, tell me and I'll send the newest update.

I'm just going to use this threads to put up other things I've done as well, I'll be updating my signature so you'll know what's in here.
Ok, newest addition is a tweak for the new Cloak of Mirroring. I've disabled the shimmering globe thing - which is the main reason why most people hate it - and added in an icon that will appear when you wear the cloak, so you'll know you have it on.
I've tried changing the animation back to what it was before, but it doesn't work, that's why I added the icon instead. The cloak will still function as it does in ToB - absorbing instead of reflecting back to the caster - so this is not considered a cheat.
Anyone wants a copy, please let me know and I'll send it to you. Thanks.

I don't got one, but I think I'll try it soon... 3 are better than 1, but does it continue in Tob? Or will there be another script... ?

There are new scripts for romance in ToB, the new files are also in the Happy Script. Check the Read Me file for detail.

Ok. all Sabres happy scripts are accessible on my page :
www.worldzone.net/games/manveru
in Jaheira section of my page.....
There are also Sabres Multistronghold scripts that allow to have all strongholds - scripts are compatible both with SoA and ToB.

Thanks, Manveru.
As stated in the post above, the Happy Script is in the Jaheira section, also the Multi-Stronghold is in the Other section.
If there are future updates, I'll post it so you'll know; and as usual, new copy will be sent to all of those who contacted me by email.
Please note that the Cloak of Mirroring has been sent to Baldurdash, but currently Kevin Dorner have not yet updated his site. So anyone who wants it, please give me your email and I will send it. Will post to let you know as soon as Kevin put it on his site.

That shimmering globe with the cloak of mirroring is annoying...you can't see your character or any characters near him. Why did Bioware change it? I wish it could be changed back to what it was before, but no animation it better than an annoying animation. Could you send me the cloak of mirroring fix? e-mail:

Magus: I've just sent it. By the way, you can change it back to the way it was - so harmful spells are reflected back to the caster, and you have the old animation - simply delete the file CLCK26.ITM from the override folder.
I prefer the new one - just not the animation - because you actually have to kill them now (beholders, enemy mages, etc.), not stand there and let them kill themselves.

Well, I'll be damned! I played all the way through Throne of Bhaal without noticing that spells are absorbed instead of reflected! Yes, that would be a lot less cheaper, wouldn't it? Thanks again, Sabre.
Now that I know this, I'm free to use my limited wish: minor globe of invulnerability and spell sequencer: 3 skull traps tactic. I died a horrible death the last time I tried that due to the cloak of mirroring!
