As for Bard songs.. yes improments on earlier songs would be nice.. New songs would be nice too..
But in Forgotten realms.. there is songs that can be compared to Wail of Banshee.. How did i get this idea? Well i did read book called Elfsong
by Elaine Cunningham. You dont need to read that book...
The problem with FR specific books is that they usually create characters and abilities that simply aren't feasible to introduce into a normal campaign with any semblance of balance. Check out Drizzt's statistics in 2nd Edition, or Elminster's in either 2nd or 3rd...they're quite simply made far too powerful to balance with player characters of similar level.
While it's not a bad idea, a song that replicates Wail as STANDARD for bards is over the top, IMO. It should remain as a spell.

Thanks guys for all the helpful comments.
Also, gave me food for thought for moding the bard later on. Think I'll improve:
1) Ballad of Three Heroes: to increase attack, dmg and save bonuses with levels.
2) Tale of ## Stronghrt: add additional immunities to debuff spells as bard levels up (e.g hopelessness)
3) T Melody: increase the bonuses slightly as the bard levels up and add immunities to paralysis effects.
4) Kaudies: Increase chance of shrugging off existing covered effects as bard levels up. Add immunities to charm / dominate spells.
5) S Yearning: Just apply will save penalty as bard levels up.
6) W C of Sith: Increase existing bonuses as bard levels up esp damage resistance and regeneration (since AC is pretty much redundant in HOF)
Then I'll add in a confusion song, a song that reduces luck of enemies and their saves (for combo with e.g. wail of banshee spells or mass dom), and a dispel magic song (which will be a double edged song). Goal is to make the bard a very versatile buffer & debuffer.

Is there a mod / IWD2 site that will host stuff that I create? In the past I just used to email the files to friends who wanted new spells and weapons etc(for BG2 though). Also, can someone remind me: if I change the descriptions / create new strings and amend the dialog.tlk file, is it enough to just send this new dialog.tlk file? Or are there other files that I must send? If no one knows I'll download that weidu mod and have a look at its contents.
As for when I'll be finished I'm not sure. As long as I've got some spare time and am not too busy at work, I'll get them done.
Thanks again for all comments.

Unless I'm mistaken, TeamBG
http://www.teambg.net
still advertises all Infinity Engine based mods. They were responsible for the biggest Infinity Mod Projects, Dark Side of The Sword Coast and The Darkest Day for BG 1 and 2 respecitvely. Now, they advertise all inifity mods, and I think they'll host a download for you (if not that, they'll probably give you some help with Fileplanet).

I know of teambg since BG2 playing days.
Strange thing is, I can't access their website. Has it moved?

I asked about...turned out that the site got hacked, so they've called it quits. Straw that broke the donkey's back, so to speak. Damn shame, and whoever decided to abuse them like that is a waste of blood and excrement.

NONONONONO! Don't give up so easily! And besides, there IS another solution: contact the
Pocket Plane Group! They're the temporary TeamBG
![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)
. They're hosting absolutely tons of mods, I'm sure they'll host yours too!
